Sam is an excellent, honest mechanic. He always takes great care of my Audi and provides valuable recommendations on the service requirements. After moving to the area, I wasn't sure I would find a trustworthy mechanic, but Sam is the best!

Sam is phenomenal. Not only is he efficient and highly skilled at what he does, he is also incredibly honest and straightforward. And in briefly speaking with him about non-auto related things, it turns out he's a wonderful person as well. We are so spoiled to have Sam from Maiwand automotive around the corner. He is thorough and prompt with his repairs and fair with his pricing. Sam recognizes his limits and will make recommendations to go to other mechanics or specialists rather than take our money and do the job poorly. He recognizes the cost of auto repair so will offer to use spurious parts when possible but will also be upfront when he believes the that we are better off getting VW parts for our VW. No frills mechanic shop with excellent quality work.

I just moved into this area and was looking for a mechanic shop.I picked up this location based on the google review.I must say there is a reason Maiwand Auto has such a great reputation.Sam (I believe owner) is very punctual, friendly and very very very knowledgeable.I was always worried after moving to a new area if I could find a mechanic who is honest and also knows his stuff.Sam and his team are amazing. I strongly recommend Maiwand Auto to anyone that is looking for a honest, friendly and knowledgeable mechanic.Sam definitely deserves more than 5 stars rating.Services: Transmission

Sam and his brother are masters in their craft. Changed the engine thermostat, coolant sensor, water pump and serpentine belt amongst other things on my 2013 Porsche Cayenne S. Honest mechanics and great service for a reasonable price. Will definitely continue to service my Porsche here moving forward.

My Audi Q5 moonroof was stuck open!Sam was able to get me an appointment on short notice, which was a Godsend with all of our winter rain/snow weather this month. He explained to me that they have experience in making this repair, have done it many times before and it seems to be a common occurrence with Audi's and other VW vehicles/SUVs.Sam and Siyar were able to get our moonroof repaired in a short time and most importantly the work was well done and very reasonably priced!Definitely a better deal than any dealership/steal-ership.If you need work done on your vehicle, look no further than the guys at Maiwand Automotive Ltd. I brought in 2 vehicles for safety checks and they were able to schedule me very quickly. They were also able to replace my brakes same day and at a great price which was very convenient. The mechanic was very helpful considering I do not know much about cars, highly recommend!

My husband and I started bringing our cars to Sam when we moved to the area in 2020. He also stores my winter/summer tires for me when I swap them. He was recommended by other clients, via the Bloor West Facebook group. We are so happy to have connected with Sam. We find him to be honest, fairly-priced and never trying to "up-sell" unnecessary products or services. 3 years ago, a friend recommended Sam - she swore by (not at) his work. I've been using him ever since. Great decision. I don't need a lot of work (limited driving), but his service and advice are superb, prices good, and he's fantastic to deal with. I moved away from the area 2 years ago, but still take my car there.
