“Toronto, we are witnessing a decline of a major retail power house in Nordstrom. We need the management at Cadillac Fairview to re-imagine the repurposing of this space. In other markets like Toronto, the vacated space would have been transformed into public space. The former space should be used for a public museum or community hub. You could convert the upper floors into housing or community services like child care or community clinics .”

“I hadn't been to Yorkdale in quite a few years but it is very well kept and clean. The hallways have large store signs and displays to look at and multiple art installations/statues/decorations in various spots around the mall. I didn't realize how upscale of a mall it was until we went this past weekend to pass the time between tournament games. There is a huge selection of designer stores if that fits your taste. As for us, we kept to the Nike, SportCheck, Lids, Lindt and the Lego Store....perfect for a young teenager. The food court had many options to choose from. I was pleased to see a sorting station where you can leave your garbage and it will be sorted into the proper bins.”

“Cool mall! They have Korean skin care stores, and a T&T supermarket. There is also a bakery called Sainte-Germaine which has really good snacks. I got a mini crème brulee and a cheese tart. There is also a Lego store in the mall! The only downside is the parking can be a little bit hectic. I would go early in the day to make parking easier.”

“I found the Giant tiger a little too crowded with merchandise. And the self- checkouts were not being used so had to wait in line for a cashier
Use the self checkouts please.”

“This plaza has everything you need. Coffee shop. Shoppers Drug Mart. Bakery. Independent produce store. Bulk Barn. M&M meat shop. Sad to think it's slated for condo development. This is a true necessity for the neighbourhood. Absolutely love this piece of Etobicoke.”

“Lots of mom and pop stores, great location, great neighborhood.
Check out the Rosenbaum meat and deli shop, the best place in town. The owner is the nicest person, helpful in every way he knows his stuff.!!! 10/10”

“I go here often for La Paloma gelato with my husband and son, the other stores available in the plaza including dollar store and clothing are really nice to visit for a random stroll on a nice day. Great little center to kill a few hours on a weekend afternoon. Watch out at night though, there is usually scheduled car meets at this location on Saturday nights. Can get pretty loud with all the cars revving and showing off.”

“Classy neighbourhood plaza with a Longos, Shoppers, McDonalds, LCBO, BMO, as anchor tenants. Mamma's pizza is here as well as a What a Bagel location. You can't miss it's white sails. Watch out as parking spaces and driving lanes are tight and to those that follow directions, it's a one way loop around Longos at the east end of the plaza.”

“A great place to visit, especially convenient if you have a service appointment at GYRO Hyundai. The shopping options are excellent, with well-known stores like Best Buy, Winners, and Farm Boy, among others. The mall is well-organized and provides a pleasant shopping experience overall.”

“Larger Home Hardware than ones locally for me. Box store in plaza area so plenty of parking. Layout for goods I was looking for made sense. Staff offered to help find whatever we were looking for. Prices were competitive with other similar product stores, reasonable selection of specific goods that I was looking for and display goods on the shelf were in stock. Check-out staff were efficient and pleasant”

“I had a wonderful shopping day at Dufferin Mall today! Everything was so convenient in one place. I found a beautiful dress and was very happy with my purchase. After that, I stopped by Walmart and got all the groceries I needed — quick and easy. The whole experience was comfortable, organized, and enjoyable. Definitely a great place for a productive and pleasant shopping trip!”

“Personally I don’t think there is a better combination of grocery store, restaurant and dispensary in the health community than this store. I love there hot food items, they just offer better quality lunch options then any other grocery store. The store is packed with amazing local food and the dispensary is top notch. Their selection of supplements is also great. I wouldn’t suggest some of their home items, like the candles. They are wildly overpriced and the one main brand they carry uses heavy fragranced. Other than that they also have a seriously good selection of cool books and accessories for life and cooking. I love this store and I do a lot of my supplemental shopping here. My partner loves their iced Americanos from their cafe, he has commented on this specifically a number of times. A great East End staple and in some ways similar to Fiesta Farms in the West End.”

“It's a weird mall. Like, its close enough to Sherway that you may as well go to Sherway, BUT, then you will miss out on some of the gems, like Pendragon Comics, that weird toystore, and the LCBO.”

“This plaza has been here for decades and for many is synonymous with the drivetest centre and getting their first taste of freedom with their license. There used to be a famous players movie theatre here too that is now a Goodlife. Really a throwback place with stores not easily found elsewhere anymore like a ToysRUs and a bulk barn still exist.”

“Not a big place, but has almost everything. Bought some desserts from the bakery shop, a little disappointed, too pricey and tasted just ok. Still it’s worth going to J town if you are looking for goods from Japan.”

“I do a lot of shopping at home Depot for my home repairs business so stop by this mall quite often. Good selection of stores here including a Starbucks, your standard road house style restaurant, and a very nice Pho noddle place. Too bad they lost PartSouce as a tenant. No more auto parts outlet in this mall....”

“An iconic building that has been well preserved and is still well used. There is an underground access to college park station which makes this a great place to be able to access the subway as well as a station that has access to good shopping and other amenities.”

“What a great place! The prices were insane good! I loved seeing the little animal scooters go by. The kids and parents were having so much fun. I visited Nike - great deals, Boathouse - 80 percent off (Got Doc Marten Pascals for $45!), Carters - fantastic prices. I didn’t have much time, but from what I could see, all of the stores had great deals. The inside was clean, not too busy at all. The food court looked good as well. I had lunch at Pide and Spice, and the service was excellent. The staff were lovely, and the food was amazing. I had a little time to check out the flea market, and it was super cool. What a fun day!”
