We ate here as part of the Jerry’s Jet Boat tour. The barbecue plate was horrible, everything was dry. Number 1 rule of barbecue is don’t make it dry. Really sad considering the 6 hour tour is $150 and you get barbecue so dry you choke on it. The reason it doesn’t have more bad reviews is that there is no service anywhere near the area and there is no WiFi so people don’t have the ability to immediately post. I just wanted to warn others.

Food and drinks: The smokehouse burger has went downhill since last year. Beef patties were out of a steamer pan, not fresh off the grill. Bland. Pulled pork was try and without flavor. Drove 106 miles round trip to be disappointed. Will not be returning. Quick pre made meals to feed the boat tours. Really sad.

Very nice place in every way minus the late night parties, drag racing, and burnouts on the bar all night long.

Partner location for lunch on Jerry's Rogue Jets tours. It certainly exceeded our expectations, excellent BBQ, well presented food and in a stunning location.

We stayed at one of the RV sites with our family which would have had enough room for our tent as well! Beautiful location right beside the river. Perfect launching pad for our boating excursion where we hired a fishing guide. We caught a 25lb salmon!!! As well as 3 medium sized salmon and a steelhead. Also hooked an 8ft sturgeon!! Got him on video breeching twice!! It was incredible!! We cut him loose but it was insane to see such a monster leap from the river! The water was great to swim in too. Major highlight was the family and community vibe. There was an event to help support the fire fighters. Cotton candy, bbq, and a fiddle player!! Kids were riding bikes and power wheels around the camps. I don't have kids myself but my heart melted seeing all these families making memories together. Hot showers which were surprisingly free! Clean bathrooms. On site mini mart. And although we didn't stay in the cabins, they looked perfect for warm nights playing cards on the porch. We're going back in two months, we loved it so much!Nearby activities: We caught monster salmon and even hooked an 8ft sturgeon but cut him loose.Safety: Kids were able to play freely. Cars drove very slow around the grounds.Walkability: River was a short walk away. Bathrooms were central and showers were at the entrance

A lot of people smile and are polite. But today I experienced the best service and assistance that I received in more than the five past years. Thank you Cougar Lane manager and staff.Nearby activities: Beautiful facilities and outdoor walking, hiking, fishing and calm.

This restaurant was amazing, the service was fabulous and everyone was nice and welcoming. The food got there in less than 5 minutes, it was nice and hot and well put together. The taste of it all was exemplary and tasty. The vibe of the place was amazing with a nice view and cool cabin vibes. With decent pricing, I would recommend this establishment to everyone to give a try.

Refused service because I was early , manager was very rude with no one around, turned nice guy when people entered the office. Was willing to break policy , felt like extortion. People be careful with this place . This may be headed to the courts. That's how bad it was . Very rude and unprofessional staff.

GREAT BBQ I feel the Best deal on the menu is the Rogue River Sampler (large portions enough for 2 people). A bit spicy but very good. The Brisket was outstanding and the sides very good as well. The restaurant sits on the banks and overlooks the Rogue River. Nice view. A beautiful drive following the Rogue River from highway 101 Gold Beach Oregon up to Agness Oregon. DO NOT drive to Agness from I-5 in the late fall, winter or early spring.

We stopped here for lunch as part of the Jerry's Jeb boat ride. Both the Jebel ride and the stop at cougar Lane laws were amazing... For sure make sure you don't pass up on the cobbler.

Super clean and neat rest stop. Easy to access bathrooms. Food was excellent. Nice people, very helpful with directions and tourist ideas. Gas expensive as to be expected is such a remote location but nice to have it available if you are running low. Beautiful views from deck while you eat; a few annoying yellow jackets.
