They cancelled my move with less than a days notice due to the weather. I talked with the owner and asked about some kind of discount or compensation for putting me in such a tough spot and pretty much was laughed at. I ended up calling around to other moving companies that were shocked that these guys wouldn't be working. I did end up finding alternative movers that were able to get me in next day. Prices were decent.

I could write a novel regarding the absolutely terrible experience we had with this company. We were doing a long distance move relocating nearly four hours away. The day the movers were there was our last day in the house. I sent pictures of all of our belongings to the office to ensure we would be billed correctly and have room for all our things. Upon arrival, I was given a list of “we do not move” items which were not communicated to me prior to the move date, leaving me in quite a jam. I now had piles and boxes of items that couldn’t be transported on the truck, nor did I have room for them in my vehicle. Part way through loading it became evident that the truck they sent was not big enough for all of our things. The movers packed up as much as they could (or would) and the office told me they would send a secondary vehicle to pick up the last of our items the following day and they would hold it at no charge and deliver it the next time they were down in our area. Movers showed up at 2:30pm to unload our stuff. Gouged the wall at the base of the stairs which took 3 months to repair, and they hired the most unprofessional person possible. They attempted to schedule a delivery twice. Both of these times were during family vacation that had been previously booked (keeping in mind my kids had been separated from their dad 90% of the time for 6 months straight) so I was not willing to cancel a holiday to receive the shipment. Evidently, this absolved the company completely of any fault moving forward because “they tried”. Four months after our move, and needing my husband to call in for extra push, we received a delivery date for our things. The date of the delivery came and I had still not heard from action. I called in and was informed that the delivery had been rescheduled to the following week. I kept my kids home from going back to Edmonton to visit their grandparents to accommodate the delivery which was rescheduled without communication. Two days before the rescheduled delivery we received an email stating that the delivery was postponed, again. Our stuff was finally delivered later that week. A number of things were either lost or damaged during the move. I started a claim with the company and shortly after received an email saying that our customer file had been closed and we would not be receiving any compensation (for well over $500 worth of goods to be replaced). When I called in to inquire as to why, I was told that the owners response was “they aren’t getting any more out of us”. My husband had written up a detailed, but accurate, Google review prior to our things being delivered, and clearly the owner didn’t like what was said. We were then told that if we removed the negative reviews that we would be compensated for our things. We told them to pound sand. People knowing the extent of our experience is worth far more than the money we would have received. Communication with the company was mainly up to me. Only on a couple of occasions was communication instigated by them. The only glimmer of goodness through this, is that both Shannon at the front desk and Chaise with claims were a pleasure to deal with, even when I was insanely angry. Their professionalism was high, it’s just too bad the owner doesn’t meet those standards. Please, do yourself a favour, and find a different company.

Incredibly disappointed with my friends experience; the company took weeks to get their belongings to them, many items were damaged, and they are avoiding contact. Awful service. Would NOT recommend.

They arrive late, don’t finish the move, lose your furniture, damage it, dont correct it, and have no problem over charging a senior and threatening her when she challenges the price to keep the furniture. Disgusting business that doesn’t monitor their high(on drugs) employees.

I do not recommend this company at all ! We made an appointment on a friday for them to come to our house the next monday at 10 am , I made sure our dates were available prior to him coming out, got a voicemail about 10 saying he was on the way, about 40 minutes later i called him back and he said ohhh I left you several messages Im Not coming now we are booked til mid November!! This was so unprofessional and not good business practice! We will recommend other companies to our friends and family!!

Recently completed a move. Action provider helpers at destination. The three helpers were fair. Then scheduled a debris pickup and company no-showed for pickup. Disappointed to spend nine hours waiting for a confirmed appointment and now have to spend fours hours another day this week.

We had Don's team move our grand piano from the stage to the floor of the sanctuary. They were able to move around pews and other obstacles with no problem at all. Very polite team, too. We will definitely use them again!

This is the 3rd time my family has used this company. We love this company and the team that packed and moved us. Frank, Matt and Cheese. These guys were professional and really made sure everything was packed properly and everything went smoothly.

We have had a very bad experience with this moving company. We were scheduled for a three day pack. The first day everything seemed fine. The second day, everything was rushed through so they could finish that day, and during our unpacking we have seen the consequences. All of our big items, couches, desks, dressers, coffee tables, bookshelves etc, are completely beat up, there are gouges, dents, chunks taken out of edges and corners.
