I would’ve given them 0 stars if that was an option. They monitor our tank and deliver when it gets low. They miscalculated and we ran out. Could not get a hold of anyone locally. The call center said someone would be by and they never came. It’s been days and still no one has contacted us. No hot water, no heat, no cookstove for our family of 6 for days!!!!!! Still waiting. We will be cancelling our service with them. Absolutely horrible customer service and service in general - actually non existent service right now. Unbelievable.

The delivery date was missed entirely and I wasted a whole day waiting. When I finally got through to someone that barely spoke english, I got another date. This time he was on time and did a good job. This is the last time I'll get a delivery from you. I refuse to deal with a company that doesn't have an email address or a way to contact them by phone to a person in the USA. When my tank is empty, I'll have you take it away and get another from a local company that I can actually talk to. I've been dealing with Amerigas for 10 years, but not any more.

I haven't had an oven for two weeks. When I called to order a fill, the automated system gave me a two-week window. They didn't call or message before they came, and we got a message on a Sunday that they couldn't do it because the ground was too wet and they would call to reschedule. I still don't know if they were ever here. A week later they still hadn't called. When I called and finally got to a real person, he said he escalated the delivery and it would be here the next day. No one came. I called again to finally cancel the delivery because at this point I rather get an electric stove than to ever have to deal with this company again.This company, without warning, also came and locked us out of our propane when we moved in because we didn't realize our system was on a rent/delivery system. Both times I called recently, I got service reps that were obviously from India. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, however, how are people that are so far disconnected from me supposed to care or be held accountable? I don't think I've dealt with a company this bad since I cancelled Hughesnet.

The attendant was so completely rude. My take is only a storage tank and not connected to my home. She made such a big deal about how she’s not allowed to fill it etc., then proceeded to fill it anyway. Terrible attitude.

Do not use this company unless you enjoy the run around, non-existent 'service' and getting hung up on over and over again!!!!! I've waited 3 months trying to get them to take care of an issue and again today was transferred and hung up on twice!!!!! If you manage to get to local office they will transfer you to the Phillipines where the staff happily hangs up on you. They now call themselves 'customer service advocates ' At least they didn't state GOOD service!!! Oh, did I forget to mention their prices are exorbitant!$! We canceled.

We have called Amerigas 5+ times over the course of three months to have someone come out to hook up our tank. No one has come and we are told repeatedly to continue waiting with no ETA. Unfortunately we are now switching companies so that we can have propane heat this winter. The customer service representatives are outsourced and scripted so we haven’t been able to get any assistance or even file a complaint.

Used to be a great company, but since covid and closing your Springfield location it's not..... We run a business and rely on you to fill a 1,000 gallon tank and it's like pulling teeth every other week, more than once have we run out and had to send our customers to competitors....... Hopefully you can some how turn your business around, also getting anyone to repair the parts on your pumps is next to impossible, i called two weeks ago for a repair and yet to get anyone out to fix the problem..... so good old brush fix it is to keep running...... Hopefully you fix these issues soon or we will be forced to start looking for a new propane distributor to take care of us...... we wannted to support local but apparently the small business no longer matter.

Tried to get my tank recertification, but got lost in their phone tree. Finally talked to a person who gave me a number to call, but when I called that number I was given 2 more numbers to call. I give up.

Terrible Experience!!Will not sell me propane, but sold me the tank and installed it four years ago. they said i don't meet their minimum requirements. I have a 1000 gal tank that is only serving a 22kw whole house generator, the generator has been running now for about 84 hours straight (huge Ice storm) and I expect it to be needed for at least 3-4 days more. but no help from Amerigas to fill tank.

I would love to be able to schedule a delivery but unfortunately can't wait 60 to 80 minutes on hold to get to a customer service representative. That's truly unreasonable to ask customers to do.The recent change to a nationalized call center has dramatically decreased customer service. I hope that the company switches back to local representation so that the great customer service that we all enjoy returns.

I think we called all the other local propane companies in our area and AmeriGas was by far the best in all categories. They answered my inquiries promptly, scheduled to meet our needs, arrived on time, were courteous and prompt. Plus they had the best price on LP among their competitors. Best price, best service.

Friendly staff all around. Came by as planned for the new customer inspection then that was followed up with the LP delivery.
