The Worst Customer Service ever!!!!! I am not a customer, trying to receive a check from my Aunt left for me, On, April 22, a guy left me a msg (10) days ago! “The check was in the mail” Never fall for that! Then that same guy has been gone!!! ? I can’t believe how many times I have spent on the phone trying to find someone to find out about this, every time I was passed onto another area, they ALL could NOT help me!!! My siblings received their checks last week!! One lives in Vancouver the other in Portland. The checks were coming from Albany……I live in Corvallis . I went into the office here in Corvallis I was told they couldn’t help me ? Customer Service is non existent!!!

I have to say CWCU is one of the best institutions I've ever had the honor of working with. We are more down to earth than most Credit Unions. CWCU lets us be more personable as ourselves with our members. I truly love our members. Being there for our communities has always been a personal passion of mine since I was a little girl. My goal is to feel as though we are family with the sincere ability to listen with ultimate loving care for each and everyone of our members. I literally could not ask for a better CC team along with our supervisors that are so personable, supportive, and completely by my side along with having the same hearts that I also carry.

I've never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally. My branch wasn't yet open today, so I stopped st the Albany branch to deposit a check. The teller was taking an inordinate amount of time and asking me questions that clearly showed she was confused about something. I asked what was going on and she said "we have to be very careful with these government checks." It was actually a distribution from another financial institution, and the teller was clearly confused. I asked for the manager, who came out and addressed me like I was engaged in something criminal. Haven Seltman wouldn't tell me what was going on, and being quite haughty that I would dare to ask. Where's the customer service? They make more from my money than I do, and I don't need to be treated like that. I pointed out that I could have deposited the check at the ATM, and not have my time wasted like that. After insulting me and mocking me about "not wasting any more of your precious time" she handed back the check and told me to deposit it outside at the ATM. I had her look at my balance (I have considerable amount of money in that account), and I told her that if I walked out, they would be losing all my business. As I was walking out, she called after me "we don't want customers like you, good riddance!" So, I'm taking my money elsewhere. You should too.

Yeah this credit union has turned into thieves. Deposited 500 cash in the atm (to pay my rent). The atm said I had 2 fake bills, and only returned one of them. Then a week later I’m locked out of my account with no notice. This is just the recent issues I’ve had over the past couple years. Not to mention, they will stick you with $30 over draft fees, over and over and over with no mercy.

I have asked this bank multiple times to turn off debit overdraft coverage. It is usually a small debit of less than $5.00 due to a missed calculation on my part, then they hit me with a $30 fee, which then puts me in the negative and it’s a domino affect. They start charging me multiple overdraft fees. It’s a nightmare. I am a single Mom so yes, a miscalculation can send me into the negative. At least 3 different times they have assured me that they have turned it off. Yet they continue to do this and I have to call and have this conversation every time. They assure me it is turned off and then it happens again. It is so frustrating and upsetting. Plus it takes time out of my day to call and sit on hold, then wait for them to get a manager to reverse the fee. Somehow someone is either not doing their job correctly or their system is unreliable.

Crooks. Charged me a bunch of fees on cancelled payments after I requested to close my account in what can only be described as obvious retaliation. They wouldn’t close my account when I asked, by the way, telling me a supervisor would call me to discuss the closure. That has never happened. They confirmed my contact info over the phone, as well, so it’s not a matter of bad contact info. It’s profiteering.Don’t give these thieves your business or you’ll likely regret it.

Don’t dare deposit money to this bank, they love to lock you out of it for no reason, even a year with the same bank and only depositing one kind of check, and they’re completely legitimate payroll checks.Go to OnPoint credit union instead, they give you access to your own money and they also have a far superior app which shows the direct deposit information. CWCu makes you call them and share your social security number over the phone to do so.

I would not work with this bank had I known their goal is to hurt your credit. We set up an auto payment plan thinking it would be the most sure way to make our payment on time every time. During somewhere at the beginning of our loan, they changed the payment schedule without a call or letter. We had no idea it was changed. We were out of town roughly 40 days and we came back to a notice that our account was past due. They reported us to the credit bureau for $39 (the amount they changed) and got a 30pt hit to our credit rating. I can't stress enough. DONT WORK WITH THIS BANK. We have done auto pay on vehicles for years and this has never occurred. We are planning on moving our loan immediately.

Wonderful bank.. except I don't appreciate the overdraft fees for each transaction.. it should b a flat fee not each transaction.. it's totally ridiculous especially when ur a single mom of 2 and barely making it by month to month.. cuz then it makes it even harder for that person to b able to live with their income...

If I could give a negative score I would! I have 2 loans with this company. Yet only have a problem with one. I have sent them proof of full coverage insurance on multiple occasions and they still forced insurance on my loan and after multiple attempts to get it resolved they have yet to refund what they had no right to put on my loan. I will NEVER do business with this company and unless you want to be out thousands of dollars for forced insurance I would not recommend this company for a loan.

Stopped by here after work hoping to open a checking account, I left after standing in the front of the line for over 20 minutes while one slowly built up behind me without even being acknowledged of my presence, I mean I’m usually very forgiving in customer service, but for a bank with over 6 people behind the counter and no “welcome in” or “sorry about with wait” I was kinda blown away. Anyways, considering there is a review almost identical to mine from 2 years ago…if you are looking for good customer service and a local bank to open a checking account, I suggest going elsewhere.

Austin is always the one to call. Today he proceeds to tell me that I’m 52 days late. Even after I pull up the email that shows I paid he tells me I’m wrong. That he’s not sure why we’ve had problems with the account, they seem to loose our insurance info too then expect us to pay for their insurance. I’ve had my agent call them multiple times. So after Austin puts me on hold he comes back to say their system had a glitch and they’re back dating payments. Main thing is with working in customer service the customer might not always be right but you don’t flat out say that to them. In the end Austin was wrong, I also have a car loan with Linn Co and they’re way better to work with. Never recommend being a customer with this bank
