I contacted Home Depot to get an estimate (and subsequent installation) on a fence replacement in Sweet Home. I was contacted by a representative (Conner) from Pro Fence Solutions who informed me that he could come out and estimate the job on 6 July, two weeks out. I have attempted several times to contact him to confirm a time, but over two weeks, I have heard nothing from Pro Fence. I give them zero stars, and have made arrangements with another firm for the replacement. I cannot, and would not, recommend using Home Depot or their subcontractor for any fencing services.

There are so many ways Home Depot could improve. My story consists of many. We buy a home, dishwasher breaks. We go online and call Home Depot to buy a new dishwasher. We are told it will be delivered on the 5th (2 days from now), and then two days ago we get a robo call saying it's on backorder now and won't be delivered until next month. So we call the store and receive no help, just a bunch of haha yeah that happens, like it's okay to take $1000 and then not deliver. Fast

This is the newer Albany Home Depot. They have an employee named Karl or Carl or Coral from The Walking Dead. This last weekend, he was rocking quite possibly the sweetest mullet I've ever seen. He said "hi" to me nicely and I almost fell in love. Store was well staffed, cashier was courteous, and they seemed to have a full stock of the items we were looking for. Unfortunately I'll never give any Home Depot 5 stars because I worked for their Distribution Center in Salem for a short time (where dreams go to die) and all I can say is that when you know, you know. Nothing personal.

Really really bad. I called to see if a product I ordered was there and could I pick it up. I was told it was in and come pick it up. I get there and had to wait over 20 minutes while a few cashiers were chatting behind the counter. I was finally called up and was told my product wasnt there. I said I called and was told it was there. I was informed that the computer, yes the computer, says its not there so I wasted my trip to Home Depot. Whats up with these people? Dont they know they lose customers, they lose the store, they lose their job. They do not seem to care. If I complain, I lose my product. So I kept my mouth shut and left.

I give it 5 stars because I have also known for years that Home Depot outsources their deliveries and installation so I avoid that by not buying anything that requires it. So with that said, I have positive feedback on the amount of products they have, and the employees who help me with what I am looking for. If online says the store has 7 left, I call ahead and ask an employee to physically go and look to see if it is true, as in tonight I did that. On line said they had 7 dog doors on the shelf. I called and Dawn Leach said her system showed 5 left. She actually went to the area, grabbed me a doggie door and held it for me with my name on it until I can come and get it. I did that at Lowe's too one time and was told they are not allowed to do that. I still like both.

went to Home Depot, we were not allowed entrance without a mask. It doesn't matter if you have the vaccine or not. no mask no entrance! sorry Home Depot you lost me! Lowes is closer to us anyway, and there is lots of places online to shop!

My family had our kitchen remodeled and I don't even know where to start even the measurements were wrong. Very unprofessional parts were hard to get cuts were terrible. Anyway been about a year and i finally gave up told them it was good enough so they just wouldn't come back. Obviously we will never get work done by them again and were doing our master bath and other bathrooms and they will not be involved. I can't explain how many eye sores this kitchen has. Oh well hope this helps people and there time.

I was at albany home depot a few days ago and my Dad's veterans card was accepted for a discount today
The cashier said that his VA card
no longer gave him a discount she said he needs a new card

My family will no longer be going to Home Depot. While I appreciate they offer military discount, they won't except a notarized DD214 along with a valid ODL that shows veteran status. Rather, they insist you drive to Salem & pay for a DOD card. It's insulting. Lowe's & Jerry's has no hang-ups with reviewing your official military paperwork & ODL (takes 5 seconds) & smarter yet, they enter the information into their computer database.

Looked on-line to make sure Home Depot had the bricks I needed. On-line said they had over 200 in stock. So I took the 15 min drive to pick up 20 of the bricks i needed. When I got there the bay they keep them in (14) was empty. I asked an associate if they had more somewhere else as I had checked on-line and it said they did. He looked it up and he said they had over 500 in stock and that he would get me some. 25 minutes later he came back and said that they had none and someone came and bought all they had! What a waste of time and an obviously flawed on-line system. This is NOT the only problem I've had with this store! Lowe's in Albany a much better option in almost every way!

Ordered 120 80lb bags of concrete from the Albany Home Depot for a job Wednesday(7/22). Supposed to be delivered today(7/18), they call me at 2pm and tell me their truck broke down and they can not make my delivery. Oh no prob I gave myself lead time with equipment and help. Then they tell me they can not deliver my stuff until Thurdays(7/23). I say that's not gonna work I already have equipment rented and everything. They say sorry not sorry. I ask can you bump someone Monda
