I was very pleased with the service I received from Linda at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. I had used Turbo Tax for years but twice I had issues with glitches in Turbo Tax software and even with paying extra, Turbo tax couldn't resolve their software issues. This caused an unbelievable amount of angst when trying to file the following years taxes. I finally went to Jackson Hewitt and they took care of the issue. JH took the time to investigate and solve the problem caused by TT computers, there were so many papers we had to file, but they got it done and I will never use anyone besides Jackson Hewitt! The cost was about the same and I didn't have the headache and wasted time of doing the taxes myself! I have better things to do than tear out my hair doing taxes!

I only received 25% of my state return and nothing from my federal and got audited. DONT USE THEM COMPLETE RIPOFF AND WAY OVERCHARGES. ILL DO THEM MYSELF LIKE I ALWAYS HAVE.

I had an excellent experience @ the JH Tax kiosk in Walmart. Linda Edwards went above and beyond not just once, but multiple times for me. She was flexible and accommodating when I was late, followed up with me days after our appointment just to give me some information that she had gained in regards to my situation. She was very pleasant to work with and very informative . She made sure I understood everything that was happening. Awesome! Even though I didn't get the result I had wanted, I'm very appreciative and grateful for the experience I had with Linda and I look forward to seeing her next year ! 10/10 would recommend

When I contacted the Republic Bank escalation department, I was informed that my account had been flagged only because of the tax prep lead and the system they used caused us not to get approved even though we're approved 1,100I am concerned about the implications of this and would like clarification on why this occurred.
Although I was eventually approved for the loan, it was too late for me to use it. I believe that this was due to a failure on the part of Republic Bank to follow the necessary steps in the loan process. And the system make sure when you go in if you don't get a email and text message your file will be flagged and you would cost your chance for the loan and waste 1.5 hrs of your time
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide me with a full explanation so other doesn't get denied for something similar with a follow up question on the preparation side of the tax process. Aka the tax pro might not been told about this .to let the tax payer click on the link at the same time as the tax pro . You will be disappointed. Check to make sure you get the expect or denied text and email.

My agent (albany office) was quick and knows her job, nice personality and would recommend her to others. It was a good experience even with all the covid and employment issues this year. I think the fees could be a bit cheaper but thats the only thing negative i would say.
