My fiancee deposits money into my account every month for bills. We were told this is no problem and can be done with the last 4 of my account number. But every time she does it, it's usually a different experience ranging from good to awful.
Most recently she was forced to produce ID and her social security number for a deposit of $1200. She questioned it and they insisted it was due to the patriot act, so she hesitantly complied and left feeling very uncomfortable. As she should, because this law exists only for deposits of $10,000 or greater, not 1200! They were so confidently incorrect and that leaves me little confidence in them as a financial institution. Even I knew that and I've never worked in banking!
This was the final straw for me. I will begin migrating my banking to a credit union asap.

I have several accounts, and i have been at key 30 plus years. My only bank. I have a lot of in and out activity right now because I am building a house, Key counted it as fraud even though they were confirmed charges and now for 2 plus months I have had checks canceled and accounts shut down even when the money is in them, please don't use Key if you want someone to work with you in a bank! They don't care!

Friendly staff, open on Saturday. It's a bank, they like to charge fees, but has occasional great deals on mortgage loans.

Absolutely the worst bank I've ever dealt with on all accounts. They are unresponsive and no one knows what is going on. The online support for KeyBank isn't any better. YIKES. I will recommend them to no one.

The hours on the website are incorrect. When I suggested the error they asked me to come back in 20 minutes instead of being accommodating of helpful. The manager herself was rude. As a customer for decades with thousands invested in Key products I expect more.

Ana helped us on a home equity line of credit and was wonderful, everything was not only competitive but very convenient and even the Saturday hours I was very surprised and pleased. Highly recommended!
