I have thick, curly, disobedient hair and Jacki is the only person I trust to take care of it. She's a lovely human overall, amazing at what she does, and still doesn't overcharge. All of the women in my family (all different hair types and style/color preferences) have been going to her for years. She doesn't just have skill, I know I can trust her advice. I haven't had a bad haircut since I was about 17 thanks to her. Love you, Jacki!! 😊

I saw Paula for a haircut and color. She was awesome. Talked about what I wanted and how we could best do it. She was funny and kind and I have a new hairdresser. I love my hair the color is great. I’m sending my adult daughter to see her to get a wonderful hair experience. Thanks Paula.

I called this morning needed a haircut desperately. Vinca had a cancellation at noon. Perfect ! She got me in, rinsed out my products,conditioned me,gave me a beautiful haircut and styled it, just right. I was extremely happy with the results. If I need another haircut because my lady's family is sick, I know where to go.

Vinca is amazing! She is very flexible with my schedule, always does a great job at a fair price, will schedule my next appointment the same day she cuts my hair and she is so sweet. I won't let anyone else in Albany cut my hair. I always look forward to seeing her.

The nail lady Michelle cut me pretty deep the last time she was doing my nails, my blood was getting all over the table and tools I asked her if we could wait a second for my finger to stop bleeding and she continued to put product on and file my bloody nails. I had to point out to her that she was making a mess with my blood all over her table, tools and everything I asked to wash the blood off my hands she refused to let me wash them , than she proceeded to put Super glue into my open cut. Never prepped my cuticles or used a drill to file or use a light to dry. When leaving I was clearly upset about my experience and she was very disrespectful on my way out than someone came in right after me after my blood had gotten everywhere

First off, Michelle is very professional. The reason I’m giving two stars is because of the quality of work and lack of tools. This is the first salon I’ve been to where there are no drill/cuticle tools used or a UV/LED light to dry nails. Due to the lack of resources, I feel the quality of nails are poor. I asked for an ombré on acrylic nails. I asked Michelle if this was something she could perform. I also showed her a photo as well prior to our appointment. She agreed that she could do the ombré requested. My nails came out with an extremely harsh line unlike a fade, we’re unevenly shaped, and nothing like the photo I provided.I paid $55 for this:

Where has Jana been all my life?I have always had terrible hair.She has tamed it and makes it look so good.Shes also solved the newer,age related problems I have with my hair these days!I hope she never retires.
