I always stay here driving from southern Or to seattle and back. The place is clean, feels safe and the manager is on top of things. She runs a tight ship and I’m grateful for a safe place to stay.

We stayed there last night with our 2 dogs. Spotless room. Lauren at the front desk was lovely and the lake and walking paths next to the hotel were great. No coffee in room but at the front desk. Nice fridge and microwave in room. Would have liked another pillow but very comfy bed.

This is my favorite motel 6 I have ever stayed in. The people here are amazing they are the friendliest group I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. The rooms are always clean and comfortable plus if you need anything they are always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be. I highly recommend this motel 6 to anyone that I talk to.

The Staff were nice and accommodating & the room was very nice and clean. The downside is all the traffic noise, upstairs herd of elephants throughout the night was stomp stomp stomp then you have the jerk who at 4:30 in the morning so disrespectful making loud noises and shutting the door hard & then there's the matter of horn honk at 4:30am other than that not a bad place to stay (if you can get past noisy rude people), not my 1st choice for sure

Oh wow! Some of you will not believe this. This motel, close to I-5, is the best I have stayed in and has been a blessing during my move to the west.
The people here have looked out for and encouraged me, have been generous, and have helped me with their generous rates.
The room was wonderful, from the nice, clean bedding and towels, the clean smell of the room and the quality of the furniture.
They have ample parking and have worked to help me get the type of room I needed. They have a laundry room with washer and dryer that work amazingly well, first time around.
The grounds have beautiful flowers planted in the center. Having earned certification in hotel and restaurant mgt, I can tell you that I see this hotel as an oasis in my journey. By the way, they have a park just next door for evening and morning walks and restaurants in the area.
Thank yous to the people at motel 6 for everything.

So being a rewards member you are supposed to get rooms cheaper then those that don't have a my6 account but it's more expensive to use my6 rewards account. What's the point in being a member then. It's the same with with studio 6

The room had a overwhelming smell of smoke. It got on all my clothes and made it uncomfortable. The checkin staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wish the room was cleaner.

I called ahead to ask that they not spray any room freshener because my sister is sensitive and gets headaches or worse from strong scents. When we arrived Lauren, the front desk attendant, immediately knew who I was, and informed me that they had not checked anyone into our room the night before, and let the room air out in anticipation of our arrival. I was blown away! I wasn’t sure they’d even remember my request. While the room still had a lingering air freshener smell despite their best efforts, we left the door and window open the first few hours, and that seemed to do the trick. There’s nothing fancy about this Motel 6, but I value care and thoughtfulness of the staff. The grounds are neat and nicely landscaped. The room was clean and had a small fridge and microwave. There is a major thoroughfare that provides constant traffic noises during the day (night is pretty quiet) and the walls didn’t block out the sounds of our neighbors. It is located next to a park with a water feature that provided a lovely space to walk in the morning.

Rooms clean and spacious, has A/C and heat, great water pressure in the shower. Traveling with my service animal. Has a beautiful park/pond beside it with cement walkways and little bridges to walk across. Great place to walk your dogs.

Excellent staff and good rooms! The front desk person, Lauren, saw that I had accidentally booked a smoking room, and helped me transfer. She's a godsend and deserves a raise!

I made a reservation months in advance to stay here. As the date got closer, my plans changed and I no longer needed the rooms I booked. It was a busy time, and I guess I simply forgot to cancel the reservation. I received a call today from Lauren, who was working the front desk and going over all the reservations. She called to confirm, and I was initially confused because I knew I didn't need the rooms I had booked. After looking at my notes, I realized she was 100% correct, the reservations were still active! THANKFULLY, she was able to cancel my reservations in time that I not get penalized and the rooms could be opened up for other guests. I am super grateful and can say this is great, above and beyond, customer service. Excellent job, thank you Lauren!!!

A lot of the stuff in motel didn’t work. Bed wasn’t very clean either. There was one employee by the name of Maverick that went out of his way to come in and clean our room, was also very friendly. Hats off to him

This place has the worst customer service ever! I literally reserved 2 rooms for my employees was on the phone paying for the rooms with Motel 6 through their app and the “manager” cancelled my reservations after I paid with confirmations, kicking my employees out of the lobby telling them to go to Studio 6 stating one of my employees was arrogant. How is a business supposed to reserve and pay for rooms for their employees for out of town work when they refuse to take payment over the phone? First off he was not rude or arrogant, yes they were tired after working all day in the sun and just wanted to lay down. I honestly cannot believe how rude the manager was! We will never use Motel 6 again! And the app will take your card information stating you’ve paid and you’re good to check in but the lobby personnel states the rooms haven’t been paid for. From Redmond, Salem and Albany!

Not sure what may have changed with this location per reviews from 8+ months ago, but it’s the only Motel 6 that’s ever requested a $10/night pet fee. Previously, I thought the entire chain flaunted not having a pet fee for dogs and even the corporate website still emphasizes this, but I guess a few incidents must have happened here to justify implementing the fee?
They’re also a bit stringent on the rules. For example, they prefer your male dog not to be marking things outside on the way to the pet relief area and will call you out on it if they catch you, which I think is fair, but good to know since not all Motel 6’s are like that. Also not a location that wouldn’t notice if you have more dogs than what you report at check in because the staff is likely to notice. Not something I’ve ever done, but I know it’s quite common in the dog show world these days - I’d recommend going by the rules and booking more than 1 room if necessary to accommodate them. Not saying they’re rude or unfair at all, just attentive.
I know one of the biggest dog shows happen in Albany every April and figured it wouldn’t hurt to mention this in reviews so that guests planning on bringing their dogs are aware and can plan accordingly.
