Dont bother calling them. After a long recorded message you are supposedly transferred to the next agent - 10 unanswered rings & then you're cut off! Ridiculous!

I just got off the phone with customer service to file a complaint about the postmaster here. Bryan is unprofessional and lacks customer service skills, listening skills, and patience. I was home all day on Saturday and neither had a knock on the door nor a door bell ring but when I opened my door there was a notice for a missed package. Tuesday I go to the post office to file a complaint against the mailman. Bryan informed me I would need to have the slip to file the complaint because apparently they had no package on file, totally understandable. I asked if someone would be here when I came back with it. It was 4pm. Bryan asked no follow up questions and stated he would not be here and I would have to come back tomorrow. I work a 13 hour shift the next day and informed him I would need to be able to talk to someone today, Tuesday. His attitude immediately changed as if I demanded it be him that I spoke to. I didn’t care who I talked to, just that I was able to file a complaint with someone, there was an acting supervisor also on shift. Bryan began to be incredibly condescending and tried to gaslight me eluding that there wasn’t even a notice that was left or maybe I just didn’t hear the knock. When I stated my dogs would have alerted me he stated he had a dog too and they would’ve heard the car approaching or footsteps and he rudely stated “dogs tend to have better hearing than us don’t they,” again to insinuate I was lying about receiving a notice. By this point I was incredibly frustrated, Bryan had the audacity to ask why I had an attitude and said he would be getting someone else to speak with me. The acting supervisor came up, Arthur was fine I have no complaints with him, and I asked if he would be there when I came back. He said yes so I left to get the notice. I arrived back around 4:15pm with the notice. Arthur took the notice back stating he needed to copy it and file it so they could start the investigation into my complaint. Bryan continued to be rude as I could hear him laughing loudly at my return with the notice. He laughed so loud from the back that I could hear him from where I was standing at the front desk. Bryan came up and thankfully apologized and said they would start an investigation. Bryan let me know that actually my package was supposed to arrive on the 19th and the mail carrier didn’t attempt to deliver it until the 25th. Low and behold, Bryan stated they have had several previous issues with this mail carrier. I informed Bryan that it was incredibly rude of him to be condescending to me when they are the ones who caused the issue. I let Bryan know I did not appreciate him saying I had an attitude when I was clearly frustrated with the situation and the lack of willingness to solve the problem. When I asked Bryan if he would be upset and/or frustrated if he were in this position, he told me “I won’t presume to know how I would feel in this situation.” Again, showing his lack of customer service skills. Bare minimum, you should acknowledge how your customer is feeling not dismiss or disregard it. I asked Bryan why his attitude changed when I asked for someone to be here when I came back and he shifted blame back onto me claiming “you were having an attitude with me. It’s happened before where people just have an issue with me.” I told him I have an issue with the way this situation was handled, but he decided to take it personally. I advised Bryan that if he could not handle customer service complaints then he shouldn’t have come to preform that task in the first place. Arthur was able to bring me my package and I left after that awful experience. Bryan needs to be retrained on how to handle customer service complaints with patience and respect. Thankfully the representatives from the customer service line were empathetic. Looking forward to hearing from someone about my complaint.

Today I experienced a clerk who was outstanding, he handled everything professionally respectfully, he was extremely patient with a difficult customer who backed up the line out the door.
