Too cheap to actually have machines that work when trying to pay. 80% of the time you have to try again and again.
They know their machines are trash, the customers know it yet they never do a thing about it.
They understaff the store so lines are always super long, paired with the card readers never working.
It's always such an ordeal shopping here.

I have shopped at WinCo for about 20 years because of the low prices. I go every 2 weeks and this is my main grocery trip. I've never had a negative experience until the last time I went. I've gone to checker Nancy R. several times in the past with no complaints. However, this last time as I was putting my groceries on the belt, she rudely asked me to stop adding more. I was not, as the belt was full. I simply had the bread stacked on the end of the belt, on the metal piece. I informed her of this to which she replied ok, then told me again not to add more. I've shopped here often enough that I know how to put groceries on the belt. I do not stack groceries on top of one another and make sure things are lined up. Her tone was rude enough that my 8 year old daughter commented. I'm not sure if she was irritated at how many groceries I had or what, but she was very friendly to the older gentlemen ahead of me. If there is a limit to how many items WinCo wants on the belt, then it needs to be posted.

Well stocked, clean and good service. Have to bag your own groceries, but that is what I prefer.

The lead clerk at 7:00 on 6/7/24 was very rude and does not want to do her job or talk to any customers lol. I asked if they were out of Heinz 57 and she kept walking off I had chase her down and beg her to do her job lol

You can go to a dozen WinCo stores and find everything in the same place or a mirror image. Not hear good luck either wandering around if this is not your regular store.
