We paid for rebuilt transmission, instead they replace parts. Last 8 months I had to take car in 12 times. I tried to reach out to BBB, lawyer, and CEO of their company. I tried to ask for half of payment back so I could take car elsewhere for repair. It’s devastating to spend over $6000 and car is worst condition than when we brought it in

Epic tantrums by the service manager. It takes them hours at twice the high end of the normal range to diagnose anything. Their hourly rates are twice the high end of hourly rates. Expect to be harassed at other shops of you complain.

Costs an arm and a leg for any transmission work at any shop but at aamco it was done in a timely manner and appears to be good.
Free reinspect in ten days for leaks and issues.
Will update after that.

This shop work on my transmission Nov. 2023 since then I brought back my car to this shop 5x for transmission issue. Feb. 2024 they called and said it’s all good drove 7 miles on the stop light I step on my gas and go on high speed and it just died , I almost got rear ended

Carlos is a top notch Mr. fix it when it comes to transmissions, he gave me a very reasonable price of $3800 to fix my very badly screwed up transmission on my 2007 jeep. And we talked about how other shops basically price gouging you for maximum profit, and that’s not really right for most people who can’t afford something like that, I fully trust him to be my new mechanic when something goes bad.
