If it was possible to give 0 stars I would do it. I was just racially profiled for trying to cash a small check. I’ve never had a problem cashing a check until now. This place is the worst

Been a customer with key for 12 years now and just time after time bad experience with either being told they can't help me and waiting long periods of time for tax returns to be put in my personal account and then now today with them placing a stop payment on one of bills causing me to accure a 30 dollar charge for a late fee, when the funds where in my account, then told they couldn't do anything about it, well guess this ends the business relationship I had with them.

There okay not the best service I have ever had but not the worst for this branch. The one in Oregon city is better more friendlier they call u by your first name when they have seen u a couple times its nice.

I closed my checking and savings accounts with Key Bank years ago due to their numerous fees - for even small interactions. I decided to keep my safe deposit box active. I went in a week ago to pay the annual safe deposit fee of $137. I asked the teller if I could pay with my VISA card and she said Yes. After the transaction she handed me a receipt and said "Here is the receipt for your cash advance." I said "No, I don't do cash advances because of the high interest rate, charged from the moment of the transaction." So one minute later she supposedly cancelled that transaction and I paid with a check. I came home and saw that the $137 had already been charged up to my Citi Visa PLUS an additional $10 cash advance fee. I returned to the bank that day to make sure the reversal transaction had been done. Customer service by teller was rude, customer service by Dennis Adkins (Relationship Manager) was useless as he informed me he had no way to refund my money due to the fact that I did not have an account with them. Seriously ? I was sitting there and could have easily been handed a check, or he could have transferred my money to my credit union. It is now a week later and Citi Visa is assisting me with a dispute, due to the fact that Key Bank is not cooperating. I don't even want to give Key bank one star. Needless aggravation. I will be sharing this frustrating experience with as many as I can. Next day April 2, 2019 - a very competent, courteous, problem solver named Lisa Porpora, at the Farmington Branch of Key Bank resolved my issues by performing an "override" of their system to issue me a check to cover my double charges. I still terminated my safe deposit box rental and will not be dealing with Key Bank again, but it is comforting to know that at least one person at that branch understands the importance of positive customer relations. I prefer credit unions to banks for many reasons.

I just read the reviews by others and am very surprised. I try to not go in at peak hours so I don't need to wait - such an easy change to make life easier for everyone. Everyone who has helped me has been most helpful and always answered my questions without impatience. Everyone has a concern that is important to them and we all need to realize they need good service too - which means we all have to wait our turn and will receive the same good service rather it be short or long. If we don't have time to wait, return at a different time. I have been with this branch of Key Bank since they came to this location.

If I could give this bank negative stars I would. Not just this branch the entire key bank system is awful, antiquated and they are zero help with any and all issues! Trying to get a live person in the right department without being on hold forever is not possible. I regret how long I tolerated such lousy and disrespectful customer service. Absolutely no concern for customers. I have had many banking relationships in my time including the fact Im an ex banker myself. Never have I experienced such poor business practices and customer care!!! Take your business elsewhere, anywhere else!!
