Leaping Lamb Farm is a wonderful retreat and the perfect place to make family memories. Guests can stay in the farmhouse, cabin, or cottage, all described as comfortable, wonderful, and full of character and charm. The accommodations are stocked with essentials like bread, butter, muffins, milk, and fruit, along with all the cooking and personal care items needed for a comfortable stay. The experience centers on the amazing animals. Visitors love feeding the chickens, petting and holding goats, feeding baby sheep, and visiting with horses, donkeys, and birds. Participating in morning and evening farm chores is a highlight, often rewarding guests with fresh eggs. Children especially enjoy "chores," finding eggs in the chicken coop, and interacting with the animals. The beautiful property offers excellent hiking through woods and fields, with beautiful views of hills and a creek for exploring. While hikes can be muddy and the garden produce may be limited, the overall atmosphere is highly recommended for those wanting to step off the carousel. The staff and owners are wonderful, friendly, engaging, and do their best to make stays enjoyable. It is an excellent weekend getaway or longer vacation where families explore, picnic, and quickly become friends with other guests. Many guests state they would definitely stay here again and consider coming back, having had a great experience and a perfect day.
We have stayed in the farm house and the cabin. Both are wonderful! Kiddos love feeding the chickens. We love petting the goats and exploring the woods. Excellent weekend every time
