Somehow magically we ended up at the Bramble when Alex, the head winemaker, and his right hand guy were there. Having just left a rather pretentious wine tasting experience and an underwhelming one before that, Silas was a breath of fresh air. Alex is an extraordinary winemaker. Of the nine wineries we visited, theirs is the only wine club we opted to join. Not only is their wine that standout, Alex is the kind of guy you instantly want to be friends with. Supporting what he is doing was a no brainer for us. Silas is a hidden gem amongst very big, loud, well known wineries. Make sure you put them on your list!

This place was an amazing find. There's a couple tasting rooms in town and were so glad we picked The Bramble, Silas Wines. Alex is the owner/winemaker/host/etc. and is extremely knowledgeable but also easy to talk with and ask questions. This place was more low key, which is what we wanted. All of the wines that we tasted were chosen by the host and they were all amazing. They are older vintages because they taste them as they age and only release them when they're ready. So they don't just release a new vintage every year, in order.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing wine, relaxed atmosphere, possible dogs asking for pets, and amazing hosts.

Awesome place, chill atmosphere. Family friendly (babies). We showed up an hour before closing and this sweet young lady (Zuki’s owner) help get us a couple of wines to taste. We bought two bottles of wine. The service was wonderful!

We stopped in on a Friday as we were staying at Amity Flats in the same building upstairs.Really lovely tasting room- a lot of the building's original architecture was kept, and some modern touches added.Cassandra was our tasting host and did a phenomenal job. She made sure we had what we needed, talked knowledgeably about the winery, wine makers and each wine as we tasted it, but also gave us privacy to chat.We really liked the wine and went home with a few bottles of the Enna Hay Pinot Blanc and a few of the Pinot Noirs. Great ambiance, gracious friendly staff, and Sukie the tasting room dog was the cherry on top! We'll be back for sure.

Small town, bar setting and … great wines. Our visit to the Oregon wine region yielded a gem of a find! Unassumingly I open the door and find a warm welcome from Alex the winemaker and then it’s a fantastic visit from winery history to winemaking stories, and every wine was yummy! Definitely repeat visit(s) worthy!

We had such a great visit and tasting with Alex (the wine maker). This is great place to stop for a tasting I. The tiny town of Amity. The wines are awesome. Love the tasting room vibe.

Tasting was excellently done. We were provided lots of information on the wine and how it was made. It was fun and informative. Tasting room was very comfortable in an old style. Wine was excellent especially the Viognier. I would highly recommend his winery tasting as a stop on your trip.
