When you go to a budget level motel you have lower expectations, you are not looking for the mint on the pillow. I was not expecting a dead moth on my pillow. I am using the term pillow lightly, as one was as thin and had a stained cover, the other was newer and thick, really thick. This is really a basic motel room, that is really aged. They could really use a remodel, new bedding, etc. The actual sheets were crispy, like they were left in the dryer for 2 hours. The towels were just as crispy, you could use the washcloth to exfoliate your skin, or sand the fender of a '69 Charger. there is an odor in the room, like really faint stale cigarettes, although I was assured it was a non-smoking room. In reality, you should keep driving, to either The Dalles, or Hood River, depending on which way you are going. or just recline your seat and car camp.

It was mostly clean. Opted for this establishment because online they offer breakfast, yeah if you consider breakfast a half empty bottle of Sunny D and Hostess coffee cakes and brownies breakfast. There were dead flies all over the bathroom floor. For a room booked for 4 (2 adults 2 kids) there were 2 towels. It is an older establishment and definitely in need of refurbishment.

This motel was clean fresh and the owner and staff were very friendly. We were traveling through the state and we stayed on the way down and again on the way back. Thank u Roadway inn Arlington Oregon for a very well rested stay...

Room was "old" with minor repairs to cover up problems. Odd smell. Floors squeaked, not only in my room but also adjoining room.

Cheap rate, good quality rooms, and a convenient location were a nice surprise when we arrived. Water with a nasty smell and unusable internet were not... It's the only hotel in town, so you don't really have a choice. Buy drinking water from across the street and use a hotspot.

Nice little motel good price rooms are clean and comfortable, it's not the Hilton so don't expect it.I would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect it right downtown the room isn’t the cleanest there is a room service menu but the room service is shut down and there’s no smoking rooms but there are ash trays

We made reservations a week in advance. Spent 20 min on the phone with them. Before I gave them my credit card info I confirmed that it was for 1 room and 2 occupants. Upon arriving we were told it was 1 room for 1 occupant and 10$ more then what they stated on the phone and if we wanted 2 people in 1 room it be more expensive. We decided not to stay and when we told them they became aggressive to the point of following us to the car and leaning in the car window. I asked they to remove themselves from the car and they eventually did. HORRIBLE experince

Contrary to what others have said about this location, we found our room to be clean and comfortable and the staff accommodating. If you're expecting the Grand Hyatt Hotel, then you should drive on. But if you want a reasonably priced motel to stay, this place will meet your needs. Our rating is 5 stars based on value and cleanliness.

Ok so I am not sure why people are so harsh on previous reviews, for the price it's a 4 star joint, staff was friendly and accommodated my wanting bottom floor, room was organized and clean, and is walking distance from a store/deli and a pizza place. Across the street is a waterfront park this is a convenient place. I think some previous reviews that given low ratings are just "that kind of people", you know ice water in hell type. Really though they've got my vote.Rooms: Comfy cleanNearby activities: Water front park, stores and pizza.
