Yesterday I was at my next door neighbors' for our couples' book group and admired a beautifully colorful piece of wall art. Karen told me it came from Ala Kalika, as did a lovely lamp she showed me upstairs. The store is located inside the Claycomb Plaza Mall. It is part of the adjacent Ignition Galley and I'm looking forward to visiting both when Nina and I are in Ashland this summer. The rugs they carry are from Silk Road Trading Company and the lamps and other objects are from all over the world. What I could see on their website was intriguing and attractive and I'm looking forward to admiring it up close. They are closed Mondays and open 11-6 Tuesday to Saturday and 12-5 Sundays. This is a mall Nina and I used to visit regularly to shop, but once the store that was our primary draw closed we rarely went there. Sounds like we're going to have to remedy that.

What a unique and eclectic place to browse or shop! I loved their selection of interesting lanterns and beautiful rugs. Definitely will be back again!

Fun store. Lots of cool classic-car related merchandise and art on one side. Nice Hawaiian stuff on tbe other. The owner was very nice and helpful ... went out of his way to carefully pack my art for a safe drive home to Seattle. I will be back!
