35 year resident of Ashland here. I simply can't afford to buy food in Ashland anymore. I've watched prices increase over the years, but nothing like what has happened in the last 5 years. It is price gouging and I won't stand for it. I do all my grocery shopping at WinCo in Medford now. Their prices are literally less than half of anyplace in Ashland. Food is a necessity, and what the Coop and the rest of the grocery stores in Ashland are doing is disgusting and unacceptable.
I decided to go back. The staff is friendly, The meat fish and dairy are excellent, but this place is literally a joke! If I had to grocery shop here exclusively, I would starve. The prices at Ashland Food Coop are quite literally a cruel joke!

Coop as expected. Well stocked with familiar brands, local options, great bulk section. Does not honor memberships from other coops for travelers. (The one in Moscow, Idaho does)

This is truly a fantastic co-op and natural foods grocery. Their bulk foods section is outstanding. Always stop by when traveling through that part of Oregon.

We always make this a road trip stop! I love the selection of prepared foods and local things. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options and great service!

Here exists the very best produce in town! I it is beautiful, and all organic. Here I can buy items for my baking not available anywhere else, such as organic tapioca flour. The store is clean, colorful and beautiful. I also love having meals at ACFS, of delicious, healthy food prepared by excellent chefs. There is a feel of community here, it is OUR store, in those shopping reflect Ashland's fascinating cultural depth and diversity

What a great place to have in Ashland! Since moving to the area I've missed being near a Whole Foods, and this is the perfect alternative. I love all the local options you can't find in regular grocery chains. The hot bar was also delicious. Will absolutely be back!
