John was our real estate agent and did an outstanding job answering all of our questions and helping us with all of our needs. We looked at several houses with John and weren’t able to settle on one for quite a while. John was patient with us and was committed to us and helping us find the right house. Eventually, we found just the right place and John was able to put a offer in within a few hours. We were the first people to put an offer in on the house since it was just listed that day and John’s quick action got our offer in before anyone else. We love our home and are so happy that we went with John! If you need a real estate agent in the future, this is your guy!

We were referred to John by a local friend and businessman. Our situation was quite unique . There were issues with the property that seemed monumental, jhowever John helped us overcome the problems and broker an amazingly fast sale that exceeded expectations for all parties . John was straightforward in all our conversations and dealings . He was personable,easygoing and I would absolutely recommend him to take care of all your real estate needs .

We just closed on the house of our dreams, using Gateway Realty. Our first contact was with Tracy Peddicord, who corresponded with us for a year as we were looking to return home to Oregon from Costa Rica. When it turned out the the house that we wanted was one of her listings, she graciously turned us over to John Steinbergs to be our representative for the negotiations. John is a rock star! He is responsive, knowledgable, patient, and just a joy to work with, and we are looking forward to being neighbors to both John and Tracy. We went from accepted offer to closing in less than three weeks, mostly all navigated from another country. I hope to never leave this house, but if we do, there is no question which company will be our first call to help with the sale. These folks are the real deal.

I recently purchased a home in Ashland with Genie Long’s incredible help! This was a 1st time home purchase for me, and I had questions concerns and. Questions. Genie was always available to answer questions and soothe concerns. Genie knows a lot of stuff, and if she doesn’t know for sure she will find out. And she’s fun!
I am thrilled with my new home and grateful for the help from Gateway Realty and Genie!
A few weeks after I closed on my house, another house, next door to me, became available. My brother, who lived in a large house in Ashland, decided to downsize. Of course he called Genie. In a few short weeks she has helped my brother buy the new house and sell the old house! Working with her was, again, awesome! Strongly recommend 👍🏼♥️🏠

Review of Agent/Broker, Gretski Lieberman, Gateway Real Estate, Ashland, OR In a word, Gretski Lieberman is amazing! We could not recommend her more highly. As out-of-state buyers, we had a bit of trepidation, but Gretski immediately put us at ease. She spent time getting to know us, and our home wants/needs before we even met. When we visited she was ready to go with a number of properties that met/exceeded our expectations, and was with us every step of the way. Gretski is highly professional, personable, and was diligent regarding every aspect of our home search, purchase, deadlines, close, repairs/warranties, and move in! When we were unpacking she brought us the loveliest gift basket, and snacks and beverages, and literally helped us unpack boxes. After visiting the Ashland/Rogue Valley area several times, my wife and I decided to plan to retire there from Texas. Knowing that we preferred to build, we started to look around for property and randomly walked into Gateway Real Estate where John Steinbergs happened to be sitting at the first desk. We were so fortunate to have done this. He showed us listings that met our needs and provided invaluable information about various properties including how to get to them when the map listings were vague. A hundred people a day probably did this in Ashland at the time, but he dropped what he was doing to help us despite the likelihood that we would walk out the door and never be seen again. It really impressed us, so we walked in the door about 6 months later (no appointment, I know, quite rude) and got serious. We had a property in mind, but pretty no idea about Oregon’s very different zoning and building restrictions. Fortunately, John helped us understand zoning issues, utility and water issues, negotiate a fair price, and then worked through some arcane and unusual title issues (many hundreds of pages of documents at the title company). All of this was done remotely with us 2,000 miles away. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and professional. Our experience during the sale was enough by itself to earn an excellent review from us then. But John’s responsiveness to our subsequent questions after the sale is really what has earned him our praise. Over the next few years, a hurricane and then the pandemic upended our selling timeline in Texas. Then the terrible Alameda fire devastated the Talent/Phoenix area. Building costs skyrocketed there, and we wondered if we just needed to sell and move on. John provided us with an astoundingly thorough market comparison for our property, caveats associated with the post-fire environment, and a document that rivaled appraisals we have had of our home. We expected a one line “I think you can get X for the land”, but got far more at a time when it was probably pretty darned inconvenient given the circumstances locally. We love the area and have decided to hang on, so John got little more than our gratitude. It is clear that he values the long-term relationship with clients and provides a uniformly high level of service before and after the sale. We would not consider using any other agent for real estate transactions in the area.

I had the most wonderful first-time home buying experience with Tracy Peddicord! She was the perfect guide for us in what can otherwise be a pretty overwhelming experience. There was never any pressure to move on a home we didn’t absolutely love.
