They have a sign to shop quickly but then they make you wait in a line for 15 minutes. I am not comfortable with it, giving up and switching to mail order for my meds.

I went into Rite Aid today to buy stamps. It must have been around 3:30 in the afternoon. It wasn't particularly busy at the Post Office Counter. There was an older lady waiting at the counter, probably in her late seventies or early eighties. We waited patiently and a woman came out from the back, whom I would later learn was named Stephanie, she was clearly frustrated with someone or someone. She told the elderly lady she was busy putting out the mail. She was so rude to this elderly lady that when asked she couldn't even say her box number. This Stephanie person preceded to tell her she was getting mail out and now, pointing to me, had to help me. I was stunned that this Rite Aid employee was being so unnecessary rude, hostile even. I turned and did other shopping, no longer interested in purchasing stamps, not there and certainly not from her. When I went up to the check out at the front of the store this elderly woman was asking if anyone had seen her keys. Evidently, she had become so rattled she lost her keys. When I got up to the cash register I told the young man how rude the woman was to this elderly woman and wanted to know her name. This elderly woman was not abrasive or mean, or even demanding. I am still just appalled at how she was treated. This Stephanie person needs to be called on the carpet for her conduct. That was so uncalled for. I fully intended on writing a letter to the head office.

I have been going into this Rite Aid for about 18 years. Because I'm a professional caregiver I often pick up clients prescriptions and other items that the clients themselves are unable to shop for. Today I had an experience unlike any other I've ever had there before. One of the things that many people are doing to deal with Covid now is that one person does the shopping for numerous others. As a caregiver even before Covid part of my job has been to do this. My client is in a wheelchair so I went to buy him some alcohol wipes. He has a separate card that pays for such items. I was picking up two containers of alcohol wipes- One was for my client, and the other was for myself. One of the customer associates stopped me and told me that I couldn't buy two I could only buy one. Before I could even explain I was making two completely separate purchases for two separate people with two separate methods of payment, because I'm shopping for a client, the customer associate cut me off and wouldn't even let me explain. And when I tried to she was shaking her head and would not even listen to me. She was rude and belligerent. So when I got to the front to try to buy my two containers of alcohol wipes I was telling a customer in line about my experience when what looked to be a manager overheard and came up and started to talk to me about it because I was obviously a little upset. I was not upset with her but I was a little upset at the way the first customer associate had treated me. But instead of this second customer associate ( I am assuming that it was a manager) being concerned about how one of her cohorts acted towards me she took it personally, saying I had no reason to be upset with her. She said she was willing to let me buy the alcohol wipes with an attitude like she was doing me a favor but that I had no right to/was being rude for expressing my genuine discontent at having received poor quality customer service.I was trying to explain that I was treated rudely by one of her cohorts and all she kept saying was I shouldn't talk to her in an upset way and that I was being inappropriate! It was totally unprofessional, but worse lacking in any concern for a customer who just had a simple need. I wasn't hoarding or taking advantage. If anyone had just taken the time to actually listen to what I was saying instead of just making assumptions and being defensive then there would have been absolutely no need for any issue to have occurred. It was handled so unprofessionally by someone who was obviously compensating for her ineptitude and inability to effectively cope and communicate by instead trying to shut me down, blame me for their poor customer service skills.

Went in to pick up some Rx's today. Aside from so many customers NOT wearing masks I was disappointed that the Pharmacist and Pharmacy clerk were not wearing masks. Yes, there is a screen between them and the customers, but for both their own protection (from one another) and for the fact that as health professionals they should be modeling safe behavior, they totally should have been masked up. This may not seem real to many here in our happy valley, but I have family members in other areas who have caught this virus at work and it is a very debilitating and frightening disease

My friends and I went here at around 8 pm to buy detergent and while we were there, these two teenage girls threw a big rubber ball at my friend, who then had to catch it to stop it from rolling away. After catching it, this employee rounds the corner and in the meanest tone tells us "you can't be playing with that in here". Then my friend said "sorry I didn't know", which prompted the woman employee to snicker "oh you didn't know, did you? Come on, you are old enough to know better". This is the absolute WORST customer service I have ever witnessed. She was completely unprofessional and tried to act a parent to us (three adults). needless to say I didn't buy detergent here.

One of my friends works here, and that is the only redeeming quality of this Rite-Aid. I was harassed by an employee in a way I will never forget. Someone else in the store in an aisle bounced a rubber ball towards me. Jokingly, I picked it up and talked to my friends. But I was on my way to put it back when an employee very rudely told me not to "play with the ball in the store" and that I was "old enough to know better". You can't say that to someone who is in your establishment to buy things from you! That's no way to treat a customer. I'll just go to the Albertsons across the street instead if I need anything anymore. Please don't shop here unless you want to be insulted!

Pro: open sort of late, and on weekends. Staff seems ok, but usually just the checkout staff. Cons: understaffed; I usually see the registers unstaffed, and the checkers stocking shelves. Prices crazy high: for example, Mucinex Fast Max that lists for $12.49 and Amazon sells for about $10, Rite Aid sells for $17.49.
