Absolutely atrocious experience. The store director, believe his name was Malcom? He seemed very dismissive, sarcastic, and condescending. I understand that management has to deal with completely Unreasonable people every day, but the way that I was treated in this store is absolutely unacceptable. I simply shouldn't be talked down to when coming into a grocery store, just to get some simple dinner items. I have learned that this Safeway is not a safe place to ask questions, whether it be a Cashier, or anyone in any level of management, give or take a few exceptions. I sincerely hope that this store can improve with the possible change of management.

Today, I was informed that this Safeway is no longer offering quarters in exchange for cash. Getting quarters from this Safeway is how I did my laundry, and now I am SOL in getting quarters because my bank is online. This policy is classist, and makes me seriously consider no longer shopping here, which I had previously done every day.

staff is great super helpful & friendly. great selection of produce, vegan & gluten free options you won't find in most safeways elsewhere. i had planned on visiting coop but this safeway had everything i needed

There’s a cashier that works here named Holden and well he’s real rude and he messed up my entire transaction and made me feel like the dumb one for it. If you checkout here avoid that kid and go to a nice cashier that knows what they’re actually doing. Shame on you dude.

The awesome staff that work at this store really make this store great. Aimee and Catherine are so kind and helpful. I don't know many other staff names but I haven't encountered anything but positive vibes in this store. Thank you Ashland Safeway!!

This Safeway always has some incredible deals that are very unexpected! One of my favorite frozen Dutch apple pies for $2.99! A 1/3 the reg price. And though there are always new faces, the staff is always really helpful and happy, and I greatly appreciate that.

There is a cashier / lady who is supposedly supposed to work the guest services counter here. She is an older lady with curly brown hair. AVOID. Every time I have interacted with this woman she’s acted like she’s having the worst day ever and it’s my fault. She seems to take out her stress on others. I just attempted to get a money order by asking the kind young boy working the self-checkout to call for someone, which is what I’ve been instructed to do at this location, and as soon as he called over the intercom she yelled at him across the store, “I’M THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO IT AND IM NOT DOING IT RIGHT NOW!” I just stood there in disbelief and left. Incredibly rude human. Hope she does something for self care soon.

The best thing about this Safeway are the employees. They are wonderful and friendly and the long term ones really do a good job. The shop is always well stocked and takes care of our requests when we have them.
