I haven't ordered from a Subway in what feels like eons, so I walk in and step back to look at the menu (showing that I'm not ready to order). No one else is in the store needing to order btw, just me. A young guy walks out from the back and seemed immediately agitated after I indicated that I wasn't ready to order just yet and responds in quick speech with something like, "Well is it going to be a 6" or foot long and what kind of bread?" I feel rushed by him but still unsure of my order because I wasn't done looking at the new-to-me menu but figured I could get him going on the size and bread type. I told him 6" and asked what type of bread they had as I didn't see it listed on the menu and again he answered quickly and seemingly annoyed. I confirmed white bread. I asked another question wondering if an item on a sandwich listing was a spread or something else. Quick and agitated, he said it was a spread that's added on at the end, and points to the end of counter, but I can change it to what ever I wanted (I could feel his eyes roll). And for the record, I did not want a different spread as it sounded great to me. I let him know which sandwich I wanted, he asked me if I in fact wanted the Pepper Jack listed, I said yes, and he started on it. At this point, I ask if they had bathrooms as I didn't see signs for any and he, once again speaking annoyed and quickly, points to his right towards a couple of plain, unmarked doors. I tell him Thanks and walk to the doors. They were both locked and obviously occupied so I stepped back to wait my turn. With where I was now standing, I could see my sandwich maker and I hear him say to whoever he's speaking to in the back, "It's always these old ladies..." and he continues to verbally bash me. I was stunned. First of all, I realize my 55 year old self seems old to a teenager, but the "old lady" term was used in a derogatory tone. I couldn't believe this was happening and felt all sorts of emotions; stunned, humiliated, angry, hurt, and speechless. When a mom with her two cute giggly girls exited the bathroom, I went into the bathroom and took my turn and came right out. I walk up to the counter and my sandwich maker was not there and another much nicer guy comes walking out from the back. I let him know I had already been taken care of, we both look over to the sandwhich counter area, and my sandwhich isn't even done. The sandwhich maker guy comes back out and finishes it, the nice employee rings me up and I leave. I couldn't speak so I didn't try and ask for a manager and was hoping to find an email instead, but there doesn't seem to be one listed online or the receipt. I'm hoping they see this review. For reference, it was this store I'm reviewing on, #31669-0, my transaction # 1/A-314576 on 10/02/2023 at 12:04:43 pm. The receipt says I was served by #100010 but it's possible that was the nice guy who rang me up and not the other overly amped and agitated guy who made my sandwhich. I don't know if the sandwhich maker fellow might have some sort of cognitive disorder or neuro-divergent brain, as the sitch was a bit odd and awkward, maybe he's been hurt in his life and his behavior is the result or he was just having a bad day. Whatever the case, I hope management sees this so they can address his behavior with him and provide some correction so he understands and learns how human interaction Should take place. In the end all, I'll be just fine, but next time I'm driving thru Ashland, I won't be going to this Subway. There are other options.

I can tell you this much this is the worst subway I have ever been to In My Life usually it's a good experience this one went all bad the man who was working or boy young man was rude and kind and I left without any sandwich. He ignored me when I was talking to him acted like I wasn't even talking to him just a whole rude situation and then as I stepped outside men that were just inside we're being arrested way to go Ashland you do not know how to run a business

The do not carry teriyaki chicken. Instead they have chicken that they squirt teriyaki on when your order.

If you can go to the one on Siskyou, I would highly recommend you do so. This location has stale bread and they are very skimpy with sauces. Their sandwiches are dry and it's like choking down a hunk of Styrofoam. At first I thought they were toasting my sandwiches, even though I asked them not to. Today I realized it was just incredibly stale bread.

The girl working this morning had such a bad attitude when I told her I wanted it toasted, she didn't even have the toaster on! So I waited 20 minutes for her to even start my food. Then she huffed and puffed as she made my sandwich. I usually love subway but this was by far the worst experience I've had there.

Called 2 days in advance to place an order for 100 sandwiches. The day of delivery the store decided they didn’t want to do the order and only made 9 of the 100 sandwiches and decided it was too much for them Worst service ever!

Don't place a piece of paper in the window saying you're going to the bathroom and that you'll be right back. No one wants to think about that while they wait for a sandwich outside of your establishment. Also, compared to the other subway in ashland you're overcharging and it's really frustrating. I keep on tipping your employees hoping to get better customer service but the store just keeps getting worse.

Tried to go in to order a couple sandwiches 20 minutes before the store was supposed to be closed. The door was unlocked but the guy inside said they had closed. Change your hours or get employees who will keep the hours.

I get that we're all struggling, and they are clearly understaffed and stretching their staff way too far. Mobile order supposed to be ready at 1:15 was ready at 1:40, sandwiches were sloppy and fully incorrect ingredient wise when they did arrive. I don't blame the employees, I blame the management but as someone with a food allergy that kind of carelessness makes a restaurant a hard no-go for me.

Absolutely awful customer service. I ordered 3 sandwiches on Doordash and only reviewed one. I also got a note that says "Sorry, here's a free cookie" ? Really? A cookie in place of two foortlong sandwiches? I called the shop and was told that the reasoning is they ran out of tuna. . So when this happens, you need to contact the Dasher and have them contact the customer for a substitution. Giving a "free" cookie in place of two missing sandwiches is pitiful. The situation was handled poorly by the employees and when I called to assess the situation, I was laughed at and treated disrespectfully. My two children love Subway but I will not be ordering again.
