If I could give it no stars I would. Rudest staff members ever. Especially the manager! They supposedly weren’t able to deposit a check that was endorsed to me? But yet I’ve had it done multiple times at other locations. Now being new to the Ashland area so I went here & this was my first experience. Considering moving banks since this is the only location close to where I live now. Told them that & they didn’t even care, absolute joke. Going to close my account at a different branch, couldn’t even stand to be in there long enough to deal with their ignorant incompetence. Because I was also asked to come inside from “trying” to use the drive through. Honestly most pathetic experience I’ve ever experienced.

I notice that other reviewers are whining because of fees associated with their own bad money management. Hardly the banks fault. If you overdraw your account you will incur fees. I myself do not overdraw my accounts and have found Umpqua to be BY FAR the best bank in Ashland and an excellent regional bank overall. Never a fee. I have only made money with them since enrolling, and they frequently offer me excellent "above and beyond" customer service. Maybe that's because I maintain my balances. Go figure.

Transferred my six figure account from First Interstate to Umpqua due to the quality and professionalism of their front of house retail bank staff. Have been very happy so far.

Leaving today after almost nine years. Way back when, they were friendly, helpful wanted to be of service. Now there is always an air of employees acting like its annoying to be helpful. Leaving a bank with two businesses, including payroll services and a merchant account and three personal accounts, including joint accounts with out of town children is not easy, this is how much I want a new bank. I should have done this years ago.

Asked for two rolls of quarters, asked if I was a customer and told no by teller and info desk.I can tell you that I will never get an account with Umpqua .Not a good way to do business.

Good experiences for many years. My real criterion for good customer service is whether you can get an exception to rules when you need it. Some banking rules are Federal and can't shift, but fees and services - you bet. I utterly adore my Washington state Umpqua bank for loans, multiple-account bundles, and the folks here are friendly and helpful as well. I only do mundane things so far, as a part-time resident, so we'll see how they are when more complex problems crop up...

This is the bank you need to bank at, all the people down there are friendly and exceptionally skilled at their job. my wife and I just switched over from bank of america, and the entire team at this branch made us feel at home and welcome. you are not just a number with them, you are a member of their bank and family. I would highly recommend switching over if you have not yet! Drew.
