This Is, the Slowest post office in the whole area. It’s not unusual to wait. 25 to 30 minutes. Somehow, despite the fact that there are multiple employees, there’s usually only one who is actually working. There could be a line out the door and there would still be one person working. And the one who is working is so busy, taking with the customers, talking and talking and talking , oblivious to all of the people waiting in line. The icing on the cake that made me post the review today, is that I noticed that the employees were filling out their own customer service surveys. There’s an icon on the screen that asks you to rate your customer service Experience The employee rates their own service. The customer doesn’t get to. I’ve been here multiple times and seen them do this over and over and over. What’s the point of having a customer service survey if you’re just going to have people rate themselves as outstanding. Even when they aren’t outstanding. It’s such an automatic thing Ithat they do this, that the customer doesn’t get a chance to rate their service. I asked the person who was helping me about it, and she claimed that the screen disappeared so fast that there wasn’t time for the customer to rate the employee. Guess everyone is gonna get a raise at the Ashland post office from self rating. I don’t understand why you would bother if it’s not a real survey.

This post office just charged me $38 to pick up general delivery parcels.
It's free at every other USPS office and USPS website says they don't charge for general delivery.
I doubt this is legal, and regardless it's pretty scummy.

i’m writing in response a case that I haf at the Ashland Post Office who went above and beyond to locate a package and deliver it to me.
I greatly appreciate their dedication to the community and quite honestly the reason for the missed delivery was due to the penmanship of the sender of the item not the fault of the carrier.
In fact the carrier went out of his way to make sure that the package got re-delivered to me as well as the supervising manager at the post office at the time -
so to wrap things up I am greatly appreciate appreciative of our wonderful Post Office and their dedication to serving the community.

I have had so many issues not getting my mail or other peoples mail since my delivery driver changed about 1.5yrs ago. Their misses have caused me a lot of issues and headaches when I haven’t received my mail on time. I have one package that I paid for that got lost in limbo and multiple ticket submissions on line to get this resolved has gotten me no where. I really love just throwing money away (buying something, never receiving it and not getting a refund) because USPS can’t get their stuff together. It’s disappointing because I don’t want USPS to be shut down and replaced by money hungry private corporations - but this seems to be the way it is heading.

This place is hit or miss. I drove all the way over here, over 20 minutes just to find out their drop mailboxes, usually opened at 3:30 p.m. on a Sunday are locked. No notices anywhere about the change & nor have they updated their door hours on Google.

I've never had a problem Here in Ashland. I think very highly of my Postal Mail Person. To Louis DeJoy, Stop messing with the Constitution and pay these people a living wage. Oh, and stop contracting out mail mail carers to get around the union and higher these Americans into the post office. Stop trying to destroy part of USA please.

Horrible experience time and time and time again. This isn’t just a once in awhile busy issue. The carriers are lazy and don’t like their job constantly losing packages and sending them late. It takes 3 days for a package to LEAVE Ashland to get to Portland. 3 DAYS!! over and over I have checked tracking. If I drop a package off in Phoenix or Talent it arrives in Portland THAT NIGHT! Even after 4pm drop offs. As well, Ashland refuses to input time stamps on their tracking in a effort to mask the delays so you cannot confirm drop off times. It starts with the management look at the post office. It’s the most filthy post office I’ve ever seen. Nothing gets wiped down there’s ripped posters all over the place supplies are never refilled and they never ever sweep or mop. Everyone seems miserable especially the customers.
