The Ashland Family YMCA is a community-focused organization dedicated to building healthy, confident, and connected individuals and families. It is described as very welcoming, well-kept, and like family, with kind and attentive employees. The facility offers a lot for the entire family, including a popular saline pool, though some gym equipment is noted as outdated. The youth programs and childcare are highlighted as wonderful, with reasonable rates and the best staff who make families feel at home and part of the community. The staff upfront are very helpful. However, there are noted frustrations regarding constant problems with the pool and hot tub area, attributed to an aging infrastructure. Despite this, the YMCA is seen as a great place to exercise and a vital part of the Ashland community, working to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Great Staff, super clean facility, amazing selection of different types of exercise equipment & activities, constantly upgrading & keeping everything up to date & running smoothly. The lifeguards go above and beyond.

I used to hate gyms until I decided to try the Ashland Y. Great facility, huge selection of well-maintained equipment, friendly and helpful staff, and great selection of classes to suit any interest and fitness level.
