Love the shop in Portland but my experience in Astoria today was completely off putting. Shop attendant was blatantly rude to my partner and I. When trying to greet/talk to her she would completely ignore us, not even looking at us or just walking away. However, she would engage with all the other guests in the store. At first we thought it was just an accident, but when we both separately said thank you/goodbye to her she completely ignored the both of us. My partner and I are clearly queer and it’s hard for us not to feel that this is the reason she was ignoring us. But regardless of the reason, we won’t be visiting that space again.

This place is a lot of fun to visit, even if you're just browsing. Lots of really funky decor I'll one day put in my dream house! Until then, I like to stop by and check everything out.

Eclectic store with something for everyone. Good place to shop for gifts. The location in Portland offers online order pickup, but that is not available at the Astoria location.

Cargo is a guaranteed stop, for our family, for holidays and birthdays. We're so excited about their new location -- so much bigger and even _more_ great, brilliantly curated stock. So grateful to have a shop like Cargo in town. Absolute mandatory stop if you're passing through.

Cargo is an offshoot of the larger cave of treasures in downtown Portland. Its chock full of all sorts of gift and decor items that you didn't know you needed, and probably cant get elsewhere.the staff enjoys the fun and you’re bound to find a treasure!
