The Astoria Column Gift Shop is a cute little souvenir shop located right next to the Astoria Column, a historic monument and landmark. It is a nice little gift shop for all your shopping needs, offering cool little nick knacks and souvenirs like lapel pins, postcards, and 3D wooden ship puzzles at nice, affordable prices. Visitors note that items often cost cheaper here than in downtown Astoria, with postcards selling for as low as $0.45. The shop also sells unique paper airplanes that can be thrown from the top of the nearby column. The shop is situated within a gorgeous, incredible beautiful park that offers a spectacular and incredible view. From the top of the Astoria Column, which has 164 steps on a spiral staircase, visitors can see the ocean and the Columbia River Gorge simultaneously, along with endless gorgeous landscape in every direction. The park includes trails to explore and restrooms. Parking requires a $5 annual pass. The gift shop is conveniently located by this beautiful overlook and is a recommended stop for anyone visiting the column and the park, providing a fun and affordable shopping experience.
