I have lived in Astoria on and off since 1983. When in college I used to go to food banks back in the day. This bank has always been very kind helpful and I have never had a demeaning rude person this past time as a senior . I FEEL OKAY GOING FOR HELP .BEING POOR IS VERY HARD JUST TRY TO BE KIND .

It used to be a very nice food bank to go too. The people were so nice and friendly. But over the last yr, they have gotten grumpy.

This is a wonderful good banks, very nice people. However I would like to point out that the Google photo is of the front of the church, the food bank is around the corner and behind the church.

Last month we had a tight budget and couldn't afford food. I went to their food bank and they helped us out tremendously. They were very kind and helpful, amazing members of this community.
