Toy Stores in Astoria, OR

“I order custom ghost tour shirts from Seth and the artwork is amazing. The magic shop takes me back to my child hood when I ordered funky magic tricks from comic books. What a treasure to have a magician in our little town.”

“Forsythia is hands down my favorite shop in Astoria. It has such a fantastic, thoughtfully and deliberately curated array of goods. Every occasion I visit, the displays are fresh and I find myself spending way more time than I intended looking at all of their beautiful pieces. I could not ask for a more perfect gift and home wares shop.

The cherry on top is the children's section. It is full of such whimsy that I, a responsible adult, have now fallen in love with the world of Maileg Mice. But there is more- so much more.

Do yourself a favor the next time you are in town and stop by. You will not be disappointed!”

“Here’s a crazy story:
I walked into this store looking for a very specific card game - NIMMT. Looked around for a long time, didn’t find it. The owner/store manager saw me struggle and walked up to check if they can help. I explained them the game and how the cards looked - obviously super confusing. Kindly enough, they looked it up online and did some quick research and found the English translation of the same game, called TAKE 5. They said the makers are one of their vendors and they can try and see if they can secure the game for us. I said sure, thanked and left - wasnt sure how far it’d go.
Couple of weeks later I get a call from the store saying they were able to get the game and i can pick up if i want to. By that time i had moved to Portland. I told them i can pick it up next time i am in Astoria if they can hold the game for me. And then this god send kind angel offers to ship it directly to me since they specifically got it for me. I was beyond grateful for the level of effort they were willing to put in. I hesitated a bit, feeling guilty and overwhelmed at the same time for them willing to make sure i had the game. They eventually shipped it to me, and i received it in the next week and since then it has been a family gathering favorite. We think of the store manager and thank them every time we play the game and recommend our friends checking out this cool store whenever they’re in Astoria!!!
Such kind and lovely people❤”

“Lots of inventory for Magic the Gathering. Employee I talked to was knowledgeable about the different boosters. There were many I hadn't seen before and had to ask to learn more.”
