For those that complain about selling expired food items - some make little difference such as crackers similar to those that sit in air raid shelters. Others I would probably not choose to buy as taste degrades in jarred foods. Prices are all over the place, but guest towels for $2-3 is a bargain as are Euroscrubbies for $1. Large selection of art supplies and paper goods at generally nice prices. As for backpacks; theft is an issue in Astoria just like Portland etc. Was asked to leave mine at the desk and did so. FYI I am 77 and white with a scraggly beard.”
