PER has performed several machining services for my car/engine projects over the past few years and I have been thoroughly impressed with their work. Most recently they over-bored and honed a block for me. The tolerances were absolutely SPOT on and the engine performs beautifully. The staff is friendly, honest and loaded with knowledge. My "go to" machine shop.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful shop with excellent on-site engine rebuilding machinery and staff. This is an actual machine shop location, meaning they are going the actual work on rebuilding your engine, and their guys are the true-blue experts with decades of expertise. In my dealings with them they've been 100% honest and up-front. Great guys!

This is a shop you can trust to know what they are doing. They have attention to detail and produce really high quality engines. There can be a lot of BS in this business of trying to get an engine built right. Your money is safe and your engine will be something you will be happy with.

A had all the machine work on a 1.6L Honda d16Y8 four banger done at this shop and it was a great experience. The valves were all seated at exactly (.XXX) the same depth and the cylinder hone combined with the OEM rings and pistons that went in the holes yielded excellent ring seating if compression and oil use are used as indicators. Lots of cool motors laying around for those who enjoy the bones of engines and a remarkable chicken.

I dropped my block off for a couple of services, and they said it might be a couple of weeks. Two days later I get a phone call that it is done !! I like that they did not try to talk me into services that did not need to be done. Ted even talked me out of one I asked for because it was fine. Also, they corrected another shops work that might have caused my rings not to seal. Overall, I am quite pleased with their work, and business ethics. Ted and Ron are great guys to do business with.
