“Car was making horrible noises when passing through Baker City. Since it was the morning of New Year's Eve, I thought I was stuck for 2 days at least. Grumpy's opened their closed shop for me and had me back on the road by the of the day. My van sounds great and the price was extremely fair. Thanks so much to Ty for spending his holiday getting me out a jam, can't thank him and the shop enough”

“In July of 2023, my car broke down 35 miles outside Baker City. Was towed into town by Blue Mountain Towing (excellent) and my car dropped off at Mike Bork Auto (also excellent) at the end of the day. I stayed overnight in a hotel and wandered Baker City the next day when Mike was able to take a look at it. Fortunately, the repair was straightforward (for Mike) and was back on the road at the end of the day.While I spent the day hanging out in Baker City, of the six people I mentioned my car issues to, every one of them said Mike Bork is the guy to go to, which was very reassuring.”

“This place is EXCELLENT!!!! I was just visiting Baker City. When I got to town, I had a small noise and within a few days the noise was too loud to ignore. I took my 1999 Durango to Hills Auto unsure what to expect due to the age of my vehicle. My Durango was fixed an hour and a half later ..... I could not believe it! I told them to fix everything they could find, because I am driving by myself to AZ. They fixed what I needed, explained to keep an eye on my coolant and why. My bill was only $115!!!! These people are so good at what they do. They are professional - thorough and provide explanations. I wish I lived here in Baker City just to have an honest. excellent repair shop nearby.”

“I ordered tires to replace the original tires on my new (to me) 1986 Honda Rebel, and then it took me nearly a 2 months to come up with the money due to some hardships that hit my bank account. No pressure. The staff were all patient. When I took my bike in, they stated they were down a mechanic and it would be 'a while' before my bike would be ready - tenth on the list. Little over a week later, I received a call stating it was done. I was expecting that it would take SEVERAL weeks. " I need another week to get paid, before I can pick it up." I told them. Their attitude with me was so patient, and amazing. I am a first time bike owner, new rider and I asked them and at least a hundred different questions. they answered every single one.I read the reviews from others. I'm mostly broke, with no time or money to spare. These guys were NOTHING like negative reviews stated. Nothing. I took a chance, and I am SO glad I did. With all the work done, besides the tires, the price was way more than reasonable. I am so grateful for humans being human beings. There was no high pressure sales pitch for anything. Their work, the guarantee of their work, and their friendly service and attitude has made a life time customer of me.”

“We had 2 flats on our rear passenger side. The lady at the gas station called them for us and they sent someone right away. He changed one tire and put the spare on and aired up the other so we could make it to the shop. He met us there and was so nice and polite. We waited maybe 15 minutes and they were all finished! The people inside were just as nice. Highly recommend them for tire service in the Baker City area.”
