This motel was clean and taken care of. It's right off of the freeway and the price was great!

Absolutely adorable little place for an overnight stay, and very cozy! We've spent the last week staying at hotels and motels moving cross-country, and this was easily our favorite out of the lot. Clean, has character, nice firm beds, and the owner was very nice and helpful! Only downside is that it's close to train tracks, so if you're a light sleeper I suggest the bed furthest from the door/window and a bit of music going. It's definitely not a deal breaker, because I'm a light sleeper myself and got the best sleep I've had all week!Rooms: Ours had a lot of character, with a beach theme that wasn't overwhelmingly kitschy. It was clean and the a/c did a great job of keeping us cool!Safety: There doesn't seem to be a lot of traffic in the area, and we felt safe parking our moving truck and trailer overnight.Noteworthy details: Near train tracks, but not so close as to make you feel like the train is about to come through the room. Music or the TV on would probably be enough to drown out or disguise the sound enough that it isn't a problem!

Old school motel with lots of charm. Not fancy but a good sized room with fridge, micro, coffee maker, flat screen TV, comfortable bed. I like to be able to park a few feet from my door! A train goes by a few times at night but it's a comforting sound to

Older but very clean. Surprised to have nice soft sheets and towels. Quite place. For the price, cleanliness and soft sheets I gave it a 4 out of 5

not sure why all the reviews are so great when our room was just nasty. door didn't close or lock very well so didn't feel safe, bathroom was really dingy and smelled, toilet wouldn't flush properly and the room was just dirty over all. plus the trailer trash park out back was kinda freaky and run down so that didn't help much either.

Clean and comfy. Good value for a one night stay. Nothing fancy here, just a bed and a bathroom, but that's all we needed. Thanks.

Carl is awesome. A wealth of information and very helpful if the room needs anything. My room is very clean, can’t beat the price. Will stay here again!!

Can't speak to the motel itself but the RV park leaves much to be desired. The slot I was assigned was crammed between two long term residents, my door side has to open next to a stranger's pickup and there's not really room to uncouple the trailer and park beside it. My "view" is of a truck bed full of plywood chunks and bbq parts. My wife is sketched out to say the least. The men's shower didn't work, don't know about the women's.On the upside, the man at the desk was very friendly and accommodating and even the non-functional shower was clean. I didn't bother to complain about it because we have a shower in the RV so it's not like we had to go without. Haven't had any real trouble so far and I don't really expect any but I wouldn't be surprised if I wake up to find that everything that is not bolted down or locked up to have grown legs. It's that kinda vibe. **UPDATE** Nothing grew legs and no one bothered us. So sketchy vibe but maybe not really that sketchy. But no toilet paper in the bathroom. :/

Many thanks to Carl for taking in a tired driver from Las Vegas.? Baker City Motel is right off the freeway & very charming. I came to Baker City to see the Oregon Trail, 15 minutes away. There’s an RV park in the back & I stayed in Room 109. It’s reasonably priced & every room was booked. It’s very clean & the sheets are soft. There’s a train that runs through the town. If you’re sensitive to noise then you’ll hear the train, didn’t bother me. I’m on a 3 week road trip to see beautiful Oregon & the PNW. I’d stay here again in a heart beat.

Love this family owned roadside motel. As a single female traveler I felt safe. The owner takes great care in providing all the amenities and to make the room feel like home. I will stay here again when traveling through!Safety: I felt very safe as a female traveler. There was not anyone partying, arguing, hanging around in the parking area or outside of rooms. Area was well lit and family campground was on premises also

Couldn't have been happier. Needed a bed on our trip to Boise and this place did not disappoint. 68 bucks booked a double room. I was expecting a 68 dollar experience and to be honest, this place was nicer than most 200 per night places we have stayed. Since we arrived late in the dark I didn't see how awesome Baker City was until we got back on the road at 7. Definitely going to be back for a longer stay and to explore the town.
