Full disclosure - the interpretive center was closed so we sought out EVERY outdoor sign and visited some original ruts - and really enjoyed the area! Even without the museum, this area is dripping with history and culture. Definitely worth a visit - though next time, we'll probably make sure the center is fully open.

There are a variety of items for sale that are related to the Oregon Trail. This organization is a sister to the National Historic Oregon Trail Center. Proceeds help pay for Interpretive programs and guest performers. Shopping here is a win win all the way around and the staff are friendly people too!
