Absolutely amazing service. I'm a trucker from out of town and had to get a script filled on the fly. My doctor sent it to my pharmacy in Texas but I needed it transferred here and the team at this pharmacy went above and beyond to help me out. I had to call about 6 times total and not once did they get impatient with me, then when I got there they were nothing but nice and helpful. The ladies running this pharmacy are absolutely amazing.

If you don't mind raising your risk of exposure due to pharmacy staff not wearing masks... or waiting in line for over an hour... THIS is the Baker City Pharmacy for you!

The people are nice but the wait times are totally ridiculous.

Do to circumstances out of our control ( Rite aid closed) my husband was without important medication for almost a week. Switched to Safeway Pharmacy and wished I had always been with them. The pharmacist in Baker City Oregon went above and beyond. Waited on us even when the pharmacy was closed to insure my husband had his medication's. Truly a great guy.❤️

This store is old. Sure it has the same foods as any other Safeway. However, they only have one cashier at midmorning on a weekend. What are they thinking? They place their clearance foods and items on racks stacked around the single room, gender-nuetrual bathroom, in the back by the employees entrance. Who wants to hunt for the clearance? And finally, if you are on a tour of the grossest, most outdated store bathroom stalls in the west, this one should be on your bucket list. There's a huge chunk of missing floor tile right in front of the toilet. There's pee and leaking toilet water on the floor. Their answer is not to fix this but to have a permenant "wet floor" sign in the center of the room. The entire bathroom looks dingy and like it hasn't been given a good scrub down since nineteen-eighty. There are holes all over the walls. The sink also leaks, so rather than fix that, they place a bucket under it. The soap dispenser cover is busted and the paddle you press to release soap is so gross I didn't bother. This is not the worst bathroom I've seen, but it's definately one of them. They do have a stripped down Starbucks, which is also the only one in town, if you must have your sugared up milk with a shot of coffee.

A very well run and organized grocery store. The staff is most professional and helpful. And the store is very clean.

Stopped in when we first got to town, to replenish our road trip supplies with bottled water and snacks. While I got turned around in the store a bit (all aisles seem like they are jumbled compared to other Safeway stores that seem to have more of a consistent floor plan with each other.) But it was okay, just meant we wandered around the store a bit more to find what we wanted. We were shopping at about 9pm, just before the store closed. Not too many people, only one person in line in front of us. Check out was fast and efficient. The clearance section in the back of the store was impressive! Not just a shopping cart clearance like most stores we've been too. Instead it's a hall way and corner lined with shopping carts and short shelves full of clearanced products. Awesome! We didn't buy any of the clearance items this trip but it was fun to look. All and all, it was a pleasant shopping experience and we found what we were shopping for: bottled water, fruit and cheez-its crackers!

I haven't bought meat in this Safeway for 10 years, unless you want green and fuzzy on the bottom of the package. The produce is usually just a day or so away from rotten when you buy it, so be discriminating. I almost always get home with one or more items been paid for but not in my bags. The bakery is okay, but just okay. The deli would be alright but you have to watch the expiration dates, the fried chicken has enough salt in it to cause a stroke. It is very discouraging shopping at Safeway, and Albertson's across the street isn't much better. Baker deserves better, what I want to know is how they continually get away with this kind of disrespect to the community? I guess we have just given up.

Having shopped in Safeway in my home state, this store was top notch. Easy to find what was needed, cashiers very friendly.

Nothing special, but it is good to know there is a REAL grocery store where you can rent movies, buy food and beverages and sundries. It has everything we've ever needed on an RV trip...the types of things you forgot to pack or that you've run out of while traveling. There is a Wells Fargo Bank inside.

I needed some food, a couple of medical items and water for the road. Safeway not only served me in all areas, but every employee did it with a smile! I do not have this store but I wish I could transport the Safeway in Baker City to my hometown!
