Let me start by saying not perfect weather a little rough the wife got hit by sea sickness pretty bad then it caught up to me. The captain was spectacular. I stuck it out and caught a wonderful variety of rockfish and lingcod. The boat limited in fish great trip

The staff is so friendly and helpful. Locally owned family business. I love that you're bottom fishing in minutes after the boat leaves the dock. And the captain is top notch!

I took a Tuna trip on 8/5/24 with Captain Wayne Butler and the Prowler Crew. We had a great day, we were on the fish and I was blown away by how much fight is in a Tuna. Tuna swim in schools so one fish on is usually 2 to 5. The tuna fought hard and Captain Wayne found them several times that day, we all got our limit. There are always good and bad days fishing, we had a good day! I’m impressed with this family business in that everyone has a task and does it. You can take your tuna and clean your self, or, pay a guy on the dock to clean, and the Prowler crew will help and vacuum pack for a few dollars. I would rate these Tuna trips as 5/5 stars, book early and make sure to show or cancel, no shows effect the bottom line of a small business. You will want extra cash for cleaning fish and tips.

We went out for halibut and caught our limits and other fish. Saw a lot of whales and sharks.

Very disappointed! I had a morning trip scheduled and captain never showed up!!!!! At least a phone call the night before saying it was canceled would have been nice. Not very professional!!!!!!!!

This is a really good charter! The captain and crew are really nice, and treat clients well. We went on the 8 hour long line charter, and it was extremely fun! We caught our limits, and got a lot of delicious crabs too. The equipment is in good repair, and the boat is well maintained. Afterwards they offer fileting, vacuum packing, and freezing for your catch.

Top quality operation. Our group went on two trips. Both ran great, everything safe and fun. Everybody had a great time.If you're in Bandon, Prowler is the way to go if you want to do some fishing.And this has nothing to do with the fact we limited out both trips. I like eating fish way more than catching fish, as it turns out. But I recognize a great fishing charter company when I see it.

Booked a Halibut trip. Ended up on the boat with the Captains family. Got our limit and head out for an impromptu shot at Tuna. Got 3 each and came home. Absolutely amazing trip of a lifetime. Thank you Wayne. I will be back.

Went halibut fishing and it was a great time with Wayne and his deckhand (Dave) We all got halibut and had fun! Well worth the time and cost! They'll filet and vacuum pack your fish at the dock, too!I'll be back and next time I'll bring the whole family.
