Delightful art from trash found on the sea! Such imagination and creativity-we adored browsing through the art sea creature artifacts formed from water bottles and lighters - the stuff people cast aside in our oceans! So thrilled to find the exhibit is traveling- spread the word! Go if you haven't already - well worth the trip!

Washed Ashore is an artist that takes garbage, plastics, anything found on the local beaches and turns it in to art...jelly fish, puffin bird, sea horse, sword fish, etc. It's was hard to find the gallery. So look for the Sea food market and there's a warehouse looking building there with a lot of different local artists. It's must see

This was a really fabulous little art gallery. Apparently, it's a co-op, and the artists all live within 30 miles of it. They take turns manning the shop and selling the goods. It seemed like they had made art affordable. There were expensive things there, but there were also items that people on a tight budget could afford to spend on. We bought a small framed photo for $30. Art By The Sea was the name this business was going by.

These people are so creative it's crazy. They had quite a few large art pieces and it's surprising the things that you see in them.

This place was fantastic and sad. Fantastic art from the trash cleaned up. Friendly people full of information work here. The art was astounding and fun to see what things are used in each piece.I had to ask (since it's a non profit clean up/awarness) if they take donations. They do have a box for donations by the door.

Beautiful art and such an eye opening experience to see the amount of trash that we have in our ocean!

Beautiful sculptures made from plastic waste cleaned up from beaches locally. Also very sobering and depressing. Really has me rethinking plastic use. Very informative on what and where the waste comes from and actually proposes realistic alternatives to plastics. A must see!

This is a small but eye opening, even disturbing. museum where the exhibits and sculptures are fashioned out of litter including, but not limited to, junk collected from beaches and the ocean such as bottles and plastic. Pay a visit. Then (a) enjoy the art, But then (b) note the amount of trash and junk collected and (c) reflect on how, from this evidence. we human beings are fouling the nest in a huge way which has to change and fast. Come in America. Wake up to the harsh facts.

An eye opening view to the amount and kind of trash that washes up on the southern Oregon shore. There were some amazing sculptures in the building and some things for sale. The docent/ cashier was patient and answered questions from the 8 and 10 year olds, explained the projects in clear detail. Eco-friendly gifts available. I had seen this gallery on Trip Advisor but did not know they have exhibits travelling travelling around th US. Entry is free...leave a donation. There are sculptures around town as well as those in the gallery.

Awesome artwork and the help it is doing to clean up our oceans as well as creating awareness about the increase of pollution and the harm it does.

I made it a point to visit this little exhibit in town. I saw the traveling exhibit when we were in Toronto a while back and thoroughly enjoyed seeing it! What a wonderful way to highlight the amount of garbage in our oceans. It's good to see something beautiful made from so much ugliness and the proceeds are put towards spreading awareness and cleaning our oceans, what's not to love about that?!?
