This location in Banks is good. However, the USPS as a whole has very much declined over the years. I have had MANY things go missing, and many of my tenants send rent, and it goes missing . I avoid using the US mail unless I'm forced to.

The carriers for this post office just cannot be bothered to do a quality job. Packages are mixed up, if they are even delivered to the mailbox at all. I got three of my neighbor's packages, and not the extremely time sensitive one that I needed, despite Amazon notifying me that the package was left inside my mailbox. Wish the carriers would do the bare minimum and actually pay attention to what they're doing, so I don't have to rely on the kindness of my neighbors to recieve my mail. The guy who runs the counter is pretty cool though.

Terrible service, whoever the lady is that works here. Should be fired. She cannot do her job competently. Lazy, can’t lift boxes, rude. Unauthorized use of my mail.

I am so sick and tired of small packages being left at the Banks post office and all I get is a call tag in my huge mail box. Often it will be 1 bottle of meds from CVS. Which means I have to drive into town, mask up and spend 15 to 20 minutes standing g in line to get something that will fit in my pocket. We have talked to the post master and are lucky to get a shrug of his shoulders and an " oh well". To me it is pure laziness on the divery drivers to not put it in my mail box.

If you want to know why the post office is going out of business look no further than this branch... Clearly employees just collecting a check and have no work ethic or customer service. They are "government" employees though so it's good enough for government work...

Doing the bare minimum, all the time. Good job big Government! It's like getting my 7 year old to clean her room..

Randomly decides not to deliver to my address, and instead holds the package at the office, which is where the tracking system says it is. Won't answer the phone. Go in, they say it's not there.

They never answer the phone. NEVER. I hate trying to return a call from the po when they don’t answer the freaking phone.

Nice people, but it's like watching a Portlandia episode. Would give less stars, but it's too entertaining watching this train wreck. However nice people.

My son and I went to the Banks Post Office in Banks, Oregon, at about 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28th to find out if I had any packages and to give instruction on package delivery to the house. He spoke to the older gentleman that I had seen there many times. This man said to talk to my mail carrier, I was hoping he would leave a message for the carrier or at least give the carrier my phone number. But, he didn't even pretend he cared and would do anything.

A Christmas package was mailed from Wahougal Wash. December 12 th 2018 Priority Mail-1 Day !! It arrived in Banks on January 8, 2019. The notification says there was a notification on 1-3-2019--not !! This item left Washougal, Wash. on December 13 th 2018 and sat in Banks until they put a notice in my PO BOX on 1-8-2019. I am disgusted with this poor excuse for a USPS facility !!! I would complain in person but that would only fall upon deaf ears. Does anyone need a box of stale Christmas cookies ? I am very sorry for the sender who put out $18.90 for a priority delivery ???
