“This is my favorite bank. The staff are extremely friendly, and usually know their customers by the first name when they walk in. They always ask how I'm doing and what I have been up to. It seems like they really care...or at least I think they do. =) I have been to other banks before, and all they care about is taking your money and a lot of them aren't as friendly. It doesn't feel that way when I bank here. Plus, Bank of the West has a bear as their mascot...how cool is that?!?!”

“I was sprinting to get to the bank before closing on a Saturday because I needed to get cash out for Chinese New Year. I got there 30 seconds before closing and Eric, the bank teller, not only let me in but went through all the $20 bills I withdrew to check for the newest ones. (It's tradition to get new bills to give). Such great customer service!”

I had a great experience with one of their teammates at the Allen location the other day with Cozi. She was caring and great. “I don't personally bank here but I had such a great experience with my teller Alex. Very professional. Great conversation. Covered all the bases. Just figured it's nice to give some recognition where it's due. He handled all my questions with ease, and was very friendly. Times are very hard right now during a global pandemic and the stress everyone has these days, it's nice to see some people who can roll with the punches and still get it done, because working in customer service I can say during these times some people are still very inconsiderate and sometimes rude to these essential workers as Ive dealt with and witnessed it myself, so I'm sure he's dealt with these issues and still seemed to be enjoying his job. my mom banks here and she always has nice things to say about this location as well and I see why. Thanks !”

“Today was my second time going and I really loved this place, first time I went to open an account with them and I had the tall dark guy help me and he was really nice and helpful and today I had Jennifer help me and she was also very sweet and also helpful and also they had coffee and water and candy on the table where people can help themselves and it's awesome because I was actually really thirsty and overall, all the people who work there are awesome and for sure I will be going there more often now”

“My review is for this Branch specifically. Not only this branch but more specifically Ryan Buckley. I've been dealing with what most people dread the thought of, fraud! I found out Wednesday morning that a fraud check was written on my account and I was in such a panic, I called the customer service hotline to begin my morning. To say the lady who answered the phone was not helpful is an under statement. Not only was she not helpful, but when I explained to her the situation (my own mother stole my bank account info and wrote a fraud check) the rep. told me there was nothing that could be done except contact my mother and tell her to pay me back. (We havent spoken in about a year). After hearing that I was furious. At this point all I wanted to do was close my account with Chase and open elsewhere. I decided I would go on my lunch break to a branch and try to find solutions- since my paycheck was going to be direct deposited that night. When I walked in I was hesistant since this isnt my normal branch. When meeting Ryan he did everything he could- calling every number he knew to ask for ways to assist, and looking for his branch manager for ideas as well. When I thought all hope was lost, he tried one last number and we found the best solution for the problem. This is probably the best feeling when you're being taken care of. Ryan really knows what its like to give top notch customer service, and I hope everyone here knows what a great employee they have!”
