My experience with Blue Skies and Butterflies has been amazing. I have had a child here for 6 months and my child is happy, safe, and learning a lot! Honestly as a mom, the last thing I wanted to do was go back to work take my child to a daycare after maternity leave, but Blue Skies and Butterflies have made this transition a lot better than I ever thought possible. They truly care for your child and want to know as much about your child as possible so they can keep as much consistency as possible. They got to know my child much faster than I thought possible and got him comfortable there after maybe 5 or do days there.Ashley who runs the daycare has been nothing but sweet, very responsive communication, and so caring to my child. Brittany and Raidyn are the other teachers we see everyday and they are absolutely amazing and sweet to my child and our family. They do the cutest art work we will treasure forever and my child has quickly gained many skills and friends. These ladies create a very calm, happy, fun, and enjoyable experience for the kids and I can't imagine life without them in our lives now (truly can't because our routine and life is in such a good spot now).I have nothing but good things to say about Blue Skies and Butterflies and I feel really blessed to have these ladies and this daycare in our lives!

We needed a safe place to take our daughter and we really lucked out by finding Blue Skies. They worked with us on many occasions when we needed special meal plans with the food we sent with her, extra flexibility for keeping her enrolled when we were exploring options, and lots of patience and understanding for our case. I'm so grateful for the year and a half plus our daughter was enrolled here because it was a place of calm and stability for her, and she was able to be herself and have fun. She grew so much while she was there and we miss the place and all her teachers. The facility is a great size, the staff were always good to her, the COVID protocols were followed whenever there was a concern, and I could always count on the staff to be an extension of my parenting style. Peace of mind for me and the kiddo always had a good time there.

Happy to have both of our kids at a reliable and flexible daycare center. The brightwheel app has been a great addition to keep us current with updates + pictures. They are COVID-conscious, something that is very important to me.Our toddler is always bringing home art + singing songs that he learned from teachers Raidyn & Chrissy. He learns funny faces from teacher Kristen :)Our 1-year old has been in the baby's cottage with teachers Chelsea & Brittany since she was 5 months old. They are like family to us at this point. Highly recommend this daycare!

Blue Skies and Butterflies is a place where you can drop your kids off and not have to worry about them. Our boys have been going there for years now. The staff is loving and caring. The facility is not like another, the lot is huge. The kids have multiple areas to play and it’s safe.

We have been looking for a daycare for our 3 year old. He has been asked to leave another center and can definitely be challenging to work with in a daycare center environment. I met the owner and was incredibly clear about everything they would experience with him and said he would need several weeks to adjust to the new environment. The owner met us and agreed to take him. He went to his first day at the center. I checked in mid day to see how he was doing, and Terri (the owner) reported that he wasn't napping, and was trying to eat other children's food, but nothing alarming or unexpected. When I picked him up from the center the afternoon "teacher" said she thought he had done ok but didn't really know as she hadn't been there all day. She then asked me to take all of his things home with us (after being called away from the door and having a whispered conversation with another "teacher") and said she needed to make him a cubby and didn't want to leave his things sitting out. I thought that was odd, but didn't question her. I then got a call from the owner about 30 minutes after we got home saying that he wouldn't be a good fit, and she proceeded to outline a litany of issues they had with him that day. None of the behaviors she outlined (outside of claiming he was spitting which nobody has ever seen him do) should have been a surprise to them, I told them clearly that he was going to have a tough time adjusting to the routine, and would be very difficult at first. I'm not sure if they just didn't believe me, or that the head teacher met him after the owner had already accepted him and felt like she didn't want to invest the time. I'm disappointed in this facility for wasting our time. They had every opportunity to say no to his behaviors prior to him starting there. So if you have a child who doesn't do anything unexpected or challenging this might be a great center for you, but if you need someone who will invest any extra time into helping your family or helping a child who has been through a lot in their life, then keep looking.

I would NEVER take my kids here. They don’t tell you if another child has been exposed to covid, they yell and swear at kids, putting children in timeout and as a parent I don’t think that’s allowed in centers. They also don’t follow parents/doctors rules when asked to do something. I’ve heard the teachers talking poorly when picking up my child. Just a toxic negative environment that I would not take my kids too.

My daughter has gone here for many years (3) without any problems, the teachers are caring and will communicate if any thing happened out of the ordinary. When I dropped off my daughter I knew she was in good hands. Teacher Kristen especially has a great amount of genuine empathy and caring which made me less sad when I had to drop off my daughter. And also how I know this place is excellent is because I listen to my child and they tell me lol! We’ll still drop in time to time just to say hello? even though my daughter doesn’t go here now due to summer and home with me.The owner Terri has also numerously helped us out tremendously and is always willing to take time and listen to your needs.

Couldn’t be more pleased. My daughter now 8 and son now 5 have been going here since they were 6 weeks. The staff has been consistent, for several years. Every child, and parents are treated as family. I would never change my daycare.Covid-19 has definitely taken a toll on our lives, Blueskies and butterflies has most definitely played a positive, structured roll during these challenging times. There is Covid-19 protocols posted on the door in each classroom as well as an illness policy and a holiday closure list.Every family I see in the mornings are smiling and happy to drop off. Thanks guys for being so awesome!

No closure of school when direct covid exposure happened On July 2nd and July 3rd. I quarantined my daughter who was directly exposed by her father, and who directly exposed the kids. Terri Refused to share covid plan/ regulation/standards they are abiding by when requested. Terri turned my requests for Covid regulation info into a “parenting conflict” instead of providing me with the information she claims to have provided to the other parents who use her care.I then received a group text from Terri discussing two children by name, asking why child “A”was locked in the kitchen by child “M”, explaining to her employees that child A’s parents claim she is terrified and refusing to return. Terri and employees then badmouthed “A”s parents.I have Previously reported incidents about Child “m” (mentioned in above texts), harming my daughter and her claims that “m” taught her to use the middle finger, and bad words These reports were ignored.Terri refuses to allow me to add myself to my daughters file even though I have joint legal custody and she ignored my requests for paperwork so they could be notified of my daughters asthma status and need for ER medicine on hand for over 6 months. My daughter attended for 6 months before Father provided notice of Asthma dx and Medication to Terri, and she accepted her into care while simultaneously ignoring/refusing to accept medical documentation because “father hired the facility, not mother”.This is an awful risk of lives this establishment is taking and it’s obvious that safety of children and employees is not the directors first concern
