Fairly quick check in and decent car, but kind I'd hard to navigate out of the airport parking lot. And, upon returning elsewhere, the clerk wasn't very comminacitive.

The gentleman at this Beaverton location is absolutely wonderful! I gave him so many different twists and turns in different situations to deal with. I feel so bad but I was moving to Puerto Rico and there was a lot of moving elements. He made everything work out and with ease. I highly recommend this place. I was extremely impressed.

Reservations are not guaranteed, lost $ to uber and time off my life to get to their location where staff had cancelled reservation without notifying me because they do not have cars

Worst rental car experience ever. Wish I had listened to the reviews before booking. This place called us 30 minutes before the reservation time and left a vm and told us they didn’t have any cars and were cancelling the reservation. No attempt to find another solution or make it right. Then when we called we spoke to 3 different people who weren’t even working at that location and no one was able to do anything or even try to help. Unbelievable. Stay away.

Will never recommend Budget.
Two days before I was scheduled to pick up my rental van per my reservation, that I recently confirmed, they let me know my vehicle would not be available at that location and to go far out of my way to pick up the vehicle. Did they feel bad? Absolutely not!
What a sad operation.

Reserved van 8mths b4 pickup. I was able to re-reserve and get lower rate and refunded each time until last. Last rate was under $300, but due to a stimulus hold policy-$10 was kept & was told to contact CS. CS said can’t refund since was prepaid- BBB was filed. On pickup day- was called that can didn’t arrive from airport, but possibly one due in later. Upon pickup- it was ?? Of van being serviced since a couple thousand miles expected- guy said yes. Next day half way to destination- a/c went out, in a ‘23 minivan, and a warning light for auto brakes-need service came on. I emailed store right away since after hours-Raia tried to offer exchanging out of state, but admitted she has never done that before. I asked for compensation since exchanging would be too much inconvenience, Raia stopped responding. Upon drop off-guy said to call CS. CS said would send our case off and we would hear back- we never did, but Budget took upon self to refund one day.
Poor cs at store and on phone- will never rent from Budget again

Rented a car true expedia one way when I came in pickup the car refused told maybe after 5pm they have car. I reserved for 12pm. Don't rent true independent shops they lie to keep their cars.

If I could give this place as zero stars, I would definitely do it. I should have honestly paid attention to The reviews the bad ones, because none of them were lying. I booked a rental Like everybody else My brother took me and told him to leave Because I knew I was gonna get a vehicle. I went inside and spoke to the lady up front and told her about my rental and how i already did the pre verification.
And had already paid before hand. She said she had no cars for me And that there was two people only, she Had the Audacity to say it was out of her pay, so she wasn’t gonna do anything . When I tell you that bothered me that freaken bothered me . Kind of bullshit is that . I should’ve stayed with enterprise There’s a saying, you get what you pay for. And this was not worth my Money

No help - every call gets routed to an international call center. You cannot get through . The clerks are rude , nobody will help.

All the negative reviews about the customer service and not having a booked rental available when you show up are correct and the same experience I had. I've used this location for 2-3 times a year for the past couple years because it was convenient location for the items I continually had to move in the area. The customer service was never great even though I was probably one of the most regular customers. When I showed up to pick up my rental, I was informed it wasn't available and it's a flaw in the online booking system that doesn't accurately reflect their inventory. Rude customer service w/no apologies or ways to remedy the situation. I informed them that I will never do business here again and they lost one of their most regular customers over the past few years. On top of all this, I was still charged a $150 No Show Fee. I went back a few days later to ask why I was charged. Again, I was told it's a flaw in the system and shouldn't have been charged and should have received an email that the reservation was cancelled. I had to call corporate to get this settled and left them a lengthy message about how this was the worst rental experience I've ever had. They tried to give me a 20% credit towards any future bookings, which I told them is hardly any effort on their part b/c the 20% discount is always available with their online reservations.
Will never do business here again and will go to Enterprise one block away. They need new people working the front desk who understand customer service and welcome people who walk in their door. If I could give a negative star review, I would.
