First and foremost, I was supposed to be picked up from my place which I was advised so by one of your customer service agents. Then I was given a dirty and unreliable vehicle. The vehicle had technical problems the next day and I had to impounded it and get another vehicle from south San Francisco international airport. Yet, after few days I had to return the Honda Civic vehicle, due to technical issue/problem. And hence, I had to spend the almost the whole day to exchange the vehicle. All those rental vehicles and the customer services agents were horrible and traumatizing dealing on my vacation time. I am not totally satisfied with this whole terrible service.

Reserving online was easy, as was the pick up. The woman who helped us was friendly, professional and efficient. I wish I could remember her name. The car was clean and fun to drive. I think it was a Toyota Rav Hybrid. When I dropped it off at the airport at 6:30am, it was insanely easy. A guy directed me where to park, he scanned something on the outer windshield and said “ok, you’re good to go”. It was awesome!

Great experience, did it all online, got to the Budget, they handed me the key, and a way I went. I also needed it one more day, modified it online, no problem.

Twice now Budget has been there to save the day. Our car is in the shop, Enterprise now wants Not only the usual, but a drop of blood, deed to your house, promise of your first born and seems this time deemed it necessary to be specific On who they rented too.Oscar, from the call center set things up and kindly put up with my, "okay, we need this this and this, correct? *Yes,* okay so in finale, in order for us to rent a car, we need that, this, and that, correct?" *yes Ms. West*. Surely thinking I'm off in the head.Next day called and reached Shaun at the office, insured reservation and once again Made sure I was not missing anything surprising last minute once I get to the office. Nope everything is set. Found out we could use the car a day earlier, called up and Shaun made sure to tell me the upgraded price, Labour Day n all, set time and all good.Went to pick up the car today and Shaun was amazing with putting up with my energy and humour. Bounced quick wit back and it was a pleasure to do business with him. Thanks Budget, the one we go too from now on.

To put it simply, the gal (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) that checked me in was Wonderful! I had a terrible experience with an airport car rental company so I decided to go off airport and go to Budget. So much better!!!

Budget Rental car at Canyon Road, Beaverton was incredibly helpful when I followed up on the phone after placing my online rental reservation for an SUV to drive from Beaverton, OR to Boston, MA. Rhea answered questions about maintenance performed on the vehicle and opportunity to rent a larger vehicle. When I picked up the car, Rhea was quick and efficient and explained both contract and car operation details. She was juggling several customers and did so professionally and kindly. From now on, I will rent vehicles at this location when in Portland area. Thank you for great service!

I highly recommend the Budget Beaverton location. I've been renting and returning for over 15 years. Shawn and Raia are both great and the cars are always well maintained.

AVIS & Budget are both working under this Beaverton location 10385 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton, OR 97005After being stranded in Wyoming with bald tires, there is no way I would recommend Avis to anyone. We are out over $2,000 from this experience due to buying new tires, tow, and hotel stays. Avis left us stranded in the middle of WY while their customer service lied to us multiple times. When they finally helped us they towed the car 3 hrs from our 2nd stranded location and left us to pay for the tires after telling us they would pay. Our entire vacation was ruined due to this experience. The only reason we were not left stranded the whole time was due to calling the Highway Patrol in WY for help otherwise we would probably be stuck in the middle of no where to this day! Customer Service is based out in another country where they have scripted comments and trying to get them to understand your plight is liking pulling teeth. If you don't choose their insurance be prepared to get absolutely no help ever. Worst experience!! Thanks Avis for ruining my trip and giving me an unsafe car to drive.**** Update 06/27/23 - today (a month later) AVIS tried charging my card in the amount of $1376.11 for tires!!!!! Tires that we already paid for while stranded in Wyoming that the company DID NOT PURCHASE. AVIS customer relations has not refunded us for the tires that "WE PAID FOR" nor have they reached out to us. Lester Gates the Territory Manager reached out to my companion last week telling him that we would be refunded however that has not happened and instead they tried "charging" me $1376.11.

The black truck is SO nice! EXCELLENT VALUE! Smart, kind, staff who are good at their job is really excellent & the best customer service always! Cool cars, the CHEAPEST always & I can rent with my DEBIT card, this place is RAD, I love them so much I made them cookies!

If I could give zero stars I would. Moving truck rentals are never easy, I get that. Uhaul had been our go to and isn't particularly impressive, but man oh man do I wish I had just stuck with the ol' tried and true brand. This Budget truly went out of it's way to make my experience horrible. I've reported their predatory tactics to Oregon Attorney General for Consumer Protection.My estimated total was $2,688. I confirmed the reservation by calling, and I also received an email from Budget. Day of, we arrived and were told our truck was not there, but at the airport location. They made us feel like they were doing us a favor by not calling us ahead of time to let us know about this change, but for finding us a truck an hour (there and back) out of the way, and that we would make it just in time before they closed on a holiday weekend.Unbeknownst to us, taxes in Multnomah county (vs. Washington County) are almost 20% higher! Classic predatory business tactic. We should have known. Our rental costs (sans extras like insurance, extra driver, etc.) increased over $500 because of the taxes.I called once we had the truck to discuss the price discrepancy, since we did not choose this location, and had absolutely no notice to be able to modify our reservation. Budget told me I had to return the truck and close the reservation before they could do anything for me...convenient. Called as soon as the charge went through and they say taxes are the consumers responsibility whether I chose that location or not! Incredibly infuriating. Pricing is not transparent. Reservation and confirmation process misleading. Customer service 0/10.Truck was also a mess. Every single wheel was rusted. The back bumper step was rusted, bent sideways, and a safety hazard to use, one of the tires was went soft before we even got on the road, the air conditioning didn't work, and the cab leaked when it rained. Do yourself a favor. Rent from Uhaul. Much more straightforward and you know what you are paying for.

This location NEEDS to revise how they manage their reservations and how confirmation numbers are created. Though I understand the reservation is not a guarantee, but I had received a reminder email confirming my reservation the night before on the 18th. Next morning, the DAY OF my move, they had cancelled my reservation. I called to inquire why, and they asked for a confirmation number that began with two letters. The confirmation number provided did not begin with two letters. So unfortunately the two agents that tried to help me could not. Frustrated I came in person to see what was going on. They had not received their shipment of vehicle and were now technically at negative 11 in stock. The person in front of me had the same issue and was diverted to another location. The closest being Medford, with maybe some luck with Salem. They would not call the other locations themselves to see their stock and said that is NOT a service they could provide and that we would have to call ourselves. Otherwise their only advise was to try Uhaul or Enterprise. Despite this I at had to at least give a Salem a shot, just to find she had given me an invalid number.There should be someone tracking the amount of rentals available and incoming reservations or lower the amount of people that can reserve ahead of time to ensure when incoming shipments are cancelled you still have left over stock for those who already reserved.I appreciate the prices given by this location, but it doesn't do anything when my expected truck is cancelled the morning of.Luckily for me I was able to get service and the Hertz down the road and was able to secure a truck the same day.Update: Later that week I was given a $75.00 NO SHOW charge. This is incredible. They cancel my reservation UNDER 24 hours of my resvervation, I SHOW UP IN PERSON, then they have the audactiy to give me, to give a NO SHOW charge directly to my bank with no notice. No notification or text giving me notice of the charge, I had found out about it when I noticed $75.00 charged to my credit card.Best advice I have is to skip this location altogether and save yourself the chronic headache.I already gave this location 1 star, but after this update if allowed I would've taken the last star away.

Local rental office in Beaverton was great. But vehicle developed mechanical problems in remote area. Budget's emergency assistance service was horrible ! Off shore resource, poor English skills, very quick to say they couldn't help. Nearby rental offices closed. Travel nightmare. Rude treatment on the other end of the call using emergency number. Budget/Avis has definite operating problems in such situations.

If you qualify, the AARP rate for the physical damage waiver is a good deal. The price for the truck was competitive. We were told to ignore the check engine light due to the catalytic converter, and the truck worked fine for the over 1000 mile journey.

Rented a car for an entire month that still had dried vomit from the previous renter in the back seat. It was also obviously not cleaned...i.e. finger prints and dirty windows and carpet....and the service light was on the entire time. Got a half apology and of course zero discount from budget. Only rent from them as a last resort, because this is not the first time I have had a bad experience at this company.
