We initially used Custom NW Remodeling in 2021 to transform our pre-finished hickory hardwood floors the previous owner installed throughout our home. I reached out to several other companies and contractors who were hesitant to take the job because of the floors pre-finished state. They came out to evaluate our flooring and indicated they would be able to complete the job, and the price was very fair for the time and effort needed to accommodate our very challenging color requests.
Their team took an enormous amount of time with us, as we went through several test colors before settling on a creation they came up with using a mixture of colors.
The care and attention to detail for this initial job was amazing. We came to visit the house in the evenings and peered in during the staining and finishing phase, as the fumes were too hazardous to go inside. Each time we visited, the house had been cleaned and left in such a way that we ourselves would have done had been home.
The finishing project was gorgeous! It complemented our furniture and met our style head on. They hit the first small project out of the park.
Fast forward to September 2023. We decided that out two level, hillside deck, also installed by the previous owner, was beyond repair, and needed to be stabilized as well as replaced. We had several high end decking specialists come to share their bids and ideas for our project; however we found ourselves feeling all of them very uninspired.
After several weeks of disappointment with the contractors we met, we thought to reach out to Custom NW Remodeling to see if they would be willing and able to take on such a project. I called them, and in less than a couple of days, Brad came to evaluate the project. From the moment he came into our house, he felt like that person you have known for years, and the instantaneous feeling of relief happened for both of us. I think our initial meeting lasted at least 2 hours, the three of us walking the deck, talking about ideas, and inspiration happened. We immediately felt so confident in moving forward with Custom NW, we started discussing interior projects we had been waiting years to complete.
We began our enormous deck rebuild and family room/lavatory/laundry room renovation in Early November of 2023. The team of people that came to our home everyday became like members of our family. Initially it was Brad, Rusty, Trent and Aaron every day during rain, snow, and ice. They all took such great care and pride in their craftsmanship our project took on a life of its own. Each one of these men contributed such thought and creativeness to complete the complex and intricate finishing touches that made our home become our sanctuary.
We cannot say enough about Custom NW and their team. Each person we came into contact with was friendly, respectful, and treated our home, our environment, and even our rowdy pups like they were their own. We could not give a more emphatically positive review and would not hesitate to tell anyone we encounter that we absolutely already are saving up for additional projects with the Custom NW family.

We just finished our kitchen remodel with Custom NW and could not be more happy with everything from start to finish. Jean helped us pull everything together keeping our budget in mind and there was no pressure to "up sale" on any of the materials. Brad and his crew Trent and Silvano kept everything moving and on track. They were very helpful to put our kitchen back together doing electrical and appliance moving. Really appreciate the class A service. Will definitely be handing out their business cards to our friends and family. Had many quotes for this job and so glad we chose them.

I found Custom NW while driving down Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy wondering about how to go about redoing our kitchen that had been damaged by a leaking dishwasher. The company that we had been using for years had closed and I had no idea of how to hire someone new. I walked in and talked to Brad who was very helpful, with lots of suggestions. We decided to hire them and I am very glad that we did. The workers were prompt and all the work was done well and on time. They moved all my heavy furniture in the exercise room, including the weight machine without any damage. The kitchen looks great and I have gotten lots of compliments. We also hired them for a second project, to replace old wall to wall carpeting with wood. They found a prefinished wood that matched the wood I already had. Again, work was done quickly, with no issues.
The cost for our initial 2 room project came in very close to what the insurance company had estimated.

When it became time to rid ourselves of the tired and dated 1990’s bathrooms, we did what everyone else did. Went thru Yelp to find a contractor.After endless bids and not one seeming to stand out, a friend told me about Custom NW Remolding and Floors. He had nothing but amazing things to say about Custom NW and what an amazing job they did on his house. I gave them a call and I am glad I did.Brad came out to our house and we walked thru our small hallway and primary bathrooms. We got two quotes and decided to start with the hallway bathroom last year. This year we did the primary bathroom and what an amazing job they did to both.The crew is friendly and hard working. We were kept informed on what was next and they took extra care of our house. They put down paper and/or plastic over floors, stairs and furniture.Tear out is messy and dusty. They cleaned up after tear out and then hauled away everything. No large dumpster outside of our house. When we were nearing the end and the final touches were being placed, (towel bars, handles and knobs on cabinets and the little details) all the boxes everything came in was taken out and disposed by the company.The first pics are the small hallway bath and the latest project we just completed. We love both bathrooms!!! We still have more to do, like our kitchen and we will be returning. Give Custom NW a call for your project. You will be glad you did.Services: Tile work installation

Brad quoted quickly. Same week as inquiry. Timely ordering material and start date. Office staff kept us in the communication loop. Job was to replace 2 sets of stairs complete remodel, and added iron spinals, cut staircase, new rails-treads and risers-stained wood perfect to our request. Custom NW is a great choice for flooring. We had our dining room, living room, and office redone using prefinished hardwood, plus a family room and three stairs with new carpeting, and a laundry room and panty with new vinyl. The installation crews were great--they all did their work efficiently and finished on time as promised. The main hardwood installer, Eube, deserves special mention because of his considerateness, thoroughness, and high level of craftsmanship--in short, he's a real artist at installing hardwood floors. Highly recommended.

We contracted Custom NW Remodeling to remodel our kitchen and upgrade the floors in our dining hall. We are very happy with the result. It looks fantastic and the quality of product was beyond my expectation. I appreciated how the team promoted value over cost and that they were responsive to our asks.
