I recently stopped in on the hunt for some new boots and wanted to commend the staff for their excellent customer service. Since he didn’t have quite what I was looking for in stock, the sales rep I worked with, Reese, offered to check their inventory online and ordered in a pair specifically for me to try on. Great communication, helpful attention to detail, and a no-pressure sales approach make this a place I would definitely recommend!

I have worn Danner boots and nothing else for a very long time, I only purchase 1 style and have never had any issues or problems always had them for years before replacement, this time however I had to warranty mine due to water in my boot at work no biggie, I went in and got them warrantied and got the new pair, within a week I noticed the stitching coming out of the boot so I called and spoke to someone and they said no biggie come in I told them I had purchased the tuff toe and they had told me no problem it would be warrantied as well, I get to the store this evening and the 2 guy’s working are basically like well we usually don’t warranty after 1 warranty and we can’t warranty the tuff toe it’s pretty much one and done. I tell them I spoke to the guy on the phone and was told that it would be, I know the Portland store does as I called and asked. I could see if it was not a manufacturer defect but when you pay almost 500.dollars for a pair of boots and even take steps to prolong the boots with a product off their counter that they recommend, and then to basically tell me that the part of the stitching was not important and that your warranty is null and void now? Are you serious, I guess I’ll take the drive back to portland instead if f doing business here. Thanks I’ll make sure to let everyone at my site know how you treat blue collar workers. Thanks Danner

The Danner store personnel are always so helpful in assisting me in choosing footwear, I usually have a good idea what I want but after talking with them decide on something I hadn’t considered. Today for example I need new footwear for work, I am on concrete all day, want leather boots that are ankle high and am looking at light hikers, the associate inquires if I am going to use the boots more for work or hiking, which I respond “primarily for work and around town” so he shows me some different raised heel work boots which I try on and purchased shortly thereafter. The Danner boots were super comfortable, the leather soft and they feel much lighter on my feet many other boots I have tried. And they are SUPER sharp looking ? to boot, PUN INTENDED ?

Awesome staff, selection, and willingness to locate the best fitting footwear for the job.....BUT.... they have some hipster-esk lighting in the main room, and they flicker hella bad. I'm not too sensitive to strobe lights, but it was getting on my nerves quite a bit.

I just had the pleasure of working with Chris at the Tanasbourne Shop on a pair Moto GTX boots for motorcycle use. VERY knowledgeable. After I decided to get them he took the time to make sure I had the correct size by bringing out one size smaller to try side by side. Gave advice about what to expect as far as fit moving forward as he had actually worn the boots. I am very happy with my purchase today. Thank you Chris!

Flew up to OR to visit my Grandma and came across this Danner store location and I had to go in since I own 5 pairs of hunting boots. I never been in a Danner store in person since I live in San Diego. Jonathan Sedgwick was awesome! He was not pushy, took care of me and two other customers in the store at the same time. Very knowledgeable about the products. I would definitely go by the store and ask for Jonathan.
