I just played at this weekly Friday night poker tournament this guy Kevin runs it, and my friend Eric goes to pretty much every week , who referred me to it . Kevin has it at his house, they have three tables set up, usually they fill it with Texas Hold’em, but then when people go out, they collapse it down to two tables and the third table becomes a cash game at about 9:30 PM I think. Apparently you don’t even have to play in the tournament that night. You can show up later and get in on the cash game, lol I don’t have the money for that kind of stuff, but had fun playing.
It's in a neighborhood and literally three houses away( Kevin‘s house is kind of in a Rounded corner, not quite a cul-de-sac, so from his house to the taco place is like 100 feet lol) , there's a Hispanic family that has a catering business, and at least on Friday nights, they set up out front. As I was leaving around 10 PM (lol didn’t do all that great but had fun), a lot of different cars stopped and pulled up and got food and left. It was pretty awesome . It’s in their driveway, serving up amazing tacos, quesadillas, and such.
When Kevin is not hosting this Friday night tournament that anybody's welcome to, he has nightly online regular tournaments and such. I forget the app or site that he runs it on. I feel like it’s Bro poker or something, it’s called Deuces Poker. I ran into A guy that I know from playing pool leagues against, So that was cool. I guess it was a slow night, they only (lol, Joking with the “Only“ part) had about 16-18 people when we started, three or four had gone out but then a bunch of people showed up for the cash game. Also, they have dealers, Kevin deals at one table, another guy was on the second table, and this woman showed up later to run the cash table. He’s got a great set up there, it’s in his garage and since it was a nice night out, the garage door was left up, He asked everybody if they wanted it closed, but we didn’t. There are snacks and drinks that you can donate for, seems like some of the regulars might bring a bottle of something and leave it there to mix with. Pretty cool set up and experience, and the tacos were amazing. I will definitely be back, probably not too often, but definitely recommend.

DO NOT COME HERE- if you want a safe and enjoyable poker experience, check out Final Table and Portland Meadows on the NE side of Portland.
Unsafe environment, absolutely no security, hostile player population.
Sketchy place. Much better options for poker in the Portland area.

I would never dare play poker, I cry when I lose money, however, if I was going to, I would do it here. Great crowd of people and the occasional cute dog. The host has a great setup. Would highly recommend.

Collusion, ExtortionI have been a regular at Deuces Poker in Beaverton for 4 years. I have won their tournament 10-15 times. I'll admit now that I was a whale in the cash game, but I've recently had some consistent wins.Jan 12th- Only 2 regulars and myself at table. Kevin Lichtenberg (owner) and Eric trading off dealing.- 4:00am, Kevin: "When are you going to join us, Zach?"- 4:40am, I scooped an all-in pot and walked away to use the bathroom. When I came back there was less than my original stack in front of my seat. I brought it to the tables attention, and Kevin said, "lots of mistakes happen late at night." We began arguing about the action of the hand and what the final pot should be, which was over double the amount that I had. I gave an incorrectly low number, and Kevin gave a lower number, and then the player that I was all in against gave a third number which, I couldn't understand why at the time, was the highest number. I later understood that it was exactly in between the number that I gave and the correct pot size. Chips were handed back to me. I cashed out and was given the exact dollar amount between the number of chips that I had and the figure that Kevin claimed. The difference between the incorrect amount that Kevin stated and the incorrect amount that the regular stated was 18%.Jan 15Veiled threats from Kevin (owner) and Eric (dealer). Eric: "Maybe something will be remembered different in the springtime."Jan 18- 5am-6am, I bought in for $100 and am up to $600. Kevin says, "Can I borrow $100?" and sets the donation bucket in front of me on the table. Eric Nichols(dealing) asks for something to open a bottle. Kevin tosses his pocket knife to Eric, who then sets it open on the table between him and me.
