Booked a haircut appointment that included a blowout but when I got there my barber told me she didn't have enough time to blowout my hair even though it's something I paid for. Did not get the haircut I asked for and she did not take the time to make sure my hair was good and literally told me that it would be wonky and weird in some places. Very disappointed with my experience here. Would not recommend.

Jessica Watts is absolutely stellar! She’s a brilliant stylist who also gives the most amazing head massage, hand massage and warm steam towel over the face. Professional, kind and creative! Love the vibe of this Dosha location. Great friendly staff! They’ve been able to make all my hair dreams come true. They aren’t pushy about products, but are great about recommending some of you ask. Highly recommend Stephanie! :)

I highly recommend Dosha Salon, particularly Stephanie as the stylist! My daughter has been going to her for over 2 years now and we couldn't be happier with the quality and style of her haircuts. Scheduling appointments is also a breeze. Overall, a fantastic experience at Dosha Salon!

This place is trash. I’ve heard bad things from so many people but since my amazing stylist (different salon) was sick I couldn’t see her for my appointment today and couldn’t find another salon in time. If you want to pay double the price for a stylist with half the skill then come here. When you walk in you’ll have to approach the moody woman with black hair and so much blush that it doubles for clown makeup to check in. Customer service was abysmal and I walked out with hair I could just do myself at home. How is this salon charging the prices they do with such lousy and clearly under skilled stylists? Please skip this place.

Stephanie was AWESOME! I went in last minute for a haircut and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She made some suggestions but also listened to what I said. The hair wash was so good, she gave a great scalp massage. Thanks again Stephanie for such a great experience!Service: Haircut

Ok I’m only writing this because Vasiliki is so amazing and she deserves to be recognized for it. But you all better not clog up her schedule and make it hard for me to schedule with her lol jk.It’s worth noting that I don’t know anything about hair, or hair color, or hairstyles or anything. I went in wanting a change, something basic, like a trim and layers. But she convinced me to do an A-line, bob, a shorter haircut than I have ever had in my life. I trusted her and boy was she right! I went back a few weeks later, and had her do a balayage, which I didn’t even know what it was, and told her to just have fun with it. I am so absolutely in love with my hair I can’t believe it! She’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next time. Thanks girl!

so my gripe is not with my service, as that has always been fantastic from my girl jessica. I will no longer go to dosha because of a 3% tax that they started implementing a couple of months ago. I realize it only comes out to a couple of bucks, but i'm tired of getting nickel and dimed - and they are only charged 0.57% tax (for businesses that bring in over a million a year). So unfortunately I made the choice to find somewhere new.Service: Haircut

If you're able to get in despite them having the worst scheduling system ever, then you might have a good experience. More often than not, my appointments are re-scheduled last minute. Today was the last straw. I had booked myself a facial for my birthday and received two email confirmations, plus a text confirmation about my appointment. When I walked in I was told that there is actually no availability for over a week. I am done with Dosha. They have lost a customer due to their horrible scheduling practices and totally lackluster front desk.

Vasiliki was quite truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Of course she also did a great job and all that, but she made me feel so comfortable and welcome. If I wasn’t moving soon I would make her my main stylist. Highly recommend her.

Wanted something fun and funky for my Miami trip. Stylist refused to highlight my hair and said she could only cut it. I then asked for all over color and was only given treatment for my grays. My fun and funky haircut was a trim and two strands of hair cut around my face.Lots of dye left on my face for me to clean up after. She partially dried and straightened my hair. Charged me $125. Tried to contact management multiple times and never got a response. Laughable experience. I guess the moral of the story is don't go here unless you know and trust someoneServices: Hair coloring

They have excellent products, but I will never go in this store, ever again. Just bought a bottle of shampoo, Tag price $27.00. Clerk says, I have to pay a 3% Corporate Activity Tax. Then she charged 6%. I left confused and looked up the CAT tax. Businesses that do over 1mil a year pay a .57% tax on biz over a million per year. But, when I go online their is no tax collected, even from this stores individual web site. Why do they charge it in the store????When I purchased, it took me 5 minutes to figure out that I did not want to pay a tax that they had to pay. I walked back in to get my money back, really after 5 minutes, and they said, no, but would be happy to give me a credit. Really?????I left the bottle on their counter, took a picture of it, walked out and called my bank, to have the charges reversed. I don't appreciate thieves, especially when I'm lied too about how much tax their is, when it isn't even a tax that I'm supposed to pay.Just bought it all on Amazon for less and guess what? No taxes to pay. Lol This is so sad to me because I try to give every brick and mortar store a chance before I buy on Amazon.Just to let you know how bad this really is, the gal in the store, Becca, really tried to give me a refund but, she called her outside manager and that person wouldn't allow her to do it?Next call is to the state of Oregon to see if it's even allowed for businesses to pass this tax on to it's customers like this.

Long before the Beaverton location opened, I'd been a Dosha customer for many years. However, my most recent experience will likely be my last. Though it's been convenient that the salon shifted to an online appointment system, they should take more care to ensure that customers are charged the rate at which they booked their appointment. I recently made an appointment with an entry level stylist with a starting rate of $35. Since the previous person I'd consistently visited left, I've been trying different stylists at the salon to find a good fit. While washing my hair, there were multiple times where both ears got solid splashes of water in them and the actual wash didn't go all the way down to the roots to feel completely clean. The cut itself ended up average, at best. With naturally fine texture and thin, long hair, styling requires products to hold any short of shape or to even discern a style. The only things used were a heat protectant and thickening agent. No volumizing tonic, no mousse, no hairspray... I had a flat head of hair with indiscernible face framing layers. And when I went to pay for the lackluster experience, I was charged 47% more than the rate I booked online because the stylist's rate had just increased. It wasn't the stylist's fault for mismanagement of their website, so it didn't feel worth it to take it up with her. But adding insult to injury, I was also charged twice for the service. To their credit, they immediately contacted me to refund it back but I had to verbally provide my credit card information over the phone which I didn't relish in sharing private information like that. Time to find another salon!
