Sadly my experience at the Beaverton Fred Meyer was less than great. The Assistant Manager was too busy being sarcastic to listen to me. I will not shop there again. I truly like the pharmacy but will have to transfer my prescriptions. I feel sorry for the employees

Fred Meyer is very deceptive. Two weeks ago I priced a pair of gloves that was $24. Today they were marked 50% off so when I was at check out the gloves came out to be $16. They should have been $12. Fred Meyer raised the price up to $32 then marked that price at 50% off. Do instead of paying $12 I paid $16. Kind of deceptive and dishonest if you ask me.

The pharmacy is a mess. They just put you on hold forever. They just wait 5 minutes and then keep putting you on hold. It is a terrible set up and they take an unnecessary amount of time to get people through. I even called customer service and they said they didn't look busy but still left me on hold for over 20 minutes.

Great Fred Meyer. Not sure why the reviews are so low. This store is clean, huge, great food from the deli, good service, next to a Starbucks. And as per the old Fred Meyer slogan, I literally have found everything I need here. :-)

DONT EVER BUY GIFT CARDS FROM KROGER!!! If someone has stolen the numbers off the cards and you call their stolen card department they will put you on a hamster wheel for several months only to tell you " Sorry there's nothing we can do for you". The store that you bought them from will not help you either. This has been a $200 lesson I have learned today. I'd give them zero stars but you can't post without at least one!

Slowest cashiers ever! They move at a snails pace and allow huge lines to accumulate and don't call for backup. The floors are dirty and cracked and covered with old gum. Disgusting!

Weird vibes. Oddly aggressive staff members. Poor aisle layout. Bad shelving organization. Slow customer service. Serpentine fuel center cue line. Mobile "Eye in the Sky" police towers in all parking lots. The only entrance open after 9:00pm is near the smallest parking area. Once a gas station attendant took my credit card and never returned it. I was distracted and drove off. Returning a few hours later, one staff member helped me search through the safe where they had several other customers' credit cards. None were mine. I checked back multiple times both with the fuel center attendants and the customer service representatives. I received little help and no proactive solutions. Never got my card back. This location brews frustration. Worst Fred's location.

Really? Need you ask? Freddie and I have been having shopping dates for years and they never disappoint. I think coffee Tuesdays where old folks get 1/2 price Starbucks before they shop just to Perk up my Tuesday would be fine too Fred!

Bleh. Bunch of carts stuck together, couldn't get any apart, notified staff, they just said "yep." Clear enough they are understaffed, which is likely corporate punishment for them having a union. Parking lot is always a scrum, not easy to get into or out of. Anyone fool enough to try driving right past the front door will have a generous wait to reflect on what a bad idea what was. They are also now not content to check ID for alcohol--with which we are fine--but want to run your ID past a scanner. I already knew that they did not in fact have to scan your license, but I wanted to see how the cashier would take the polite declining. She was snotty about it and tried to just refuse to sell it to me (though here I am showing my ID quite clearly, and let's just say I look the age that's indicated by my date of birth on the ID). I asked that she call the manager for an override (they are hoping you won't know that you can do that), and she rolled her eyes and did so. Manager was no trouble about it, of course. It's just another little bit of data mining to associate your personal information with your purchases, far as I'm concerned. Hopefully people will politely decline to let them scan it. It's just not a very good experience. I hadn't been there for five months and I hope it'll be longer than that before I return.

Freddy's advertises up to 4 times fuel points when you buy gift cards. What they don't tell you is that it doesn't apply to a Freddy's gift card. In fact, when you buy a Freddy's gift card you get no fuel points at all, the fuel points go to the person who uses the card. I recently bought a large gift card and was looking forward to using the fuel points to be able to fill up my car. Quite a surprise to look at the receipt and not have the points. I understand the theory but I think that Freddy's and Kroger would score a major public relations coup if they awarded fuel points to both the purchaser of the card as well as the user.
