I had a good facial. Becca was friendly and knowledgeable.
During the facial, Becca told me to remind the front desk I should get a first time here rate if $89, which I forgot to do and was charged $200.
I cannot give H&S a high rating because their charging process is unethical.

The cleanliness of this place is excellent. Upon entering the building, I immediately felt a sense of calm and relaxation. The staff at the front desk were friendly and asked me to fill out a form. While the massage was ok, it ended 15 minutes early. I paid for an hour, and the receptionist asked me about the tip at the end. I'm a bit confused about how this business operates, given their advertising. I don't think I wanna sign up to be a member until they change the policy and the change the price.

Disappointed with my first visit to Hand and Stone Progress ridge. My appointment was at 9:00 for a one hour massage and I was told that meant a 50 minute hands on massage. I told the therapist my Neck and shoulders were my problem area but wanted whole body. She only massaged me for 40 minutes and didn’t touch my neck and shoulders. When she said we were done I asked if she was going to do my neck and she said no because she ran out of time focusing on my back. When I checked out I told the front desk girl That it was only 40 minutes and not 50 and she said oh that’s weird and asked if I wanted to leave gratuity. I did leave a gratuity because the massage I did receive for 40 minutes was good. It was just 10 minutes short and did not include my neck and shoulders as requested.

I am pretty happy with this establishment. The facials are fantastic!
It took until the 3rd massage to receive the deep tissue technique that I was looking for. Hopefully this continues!

I have been a member of hand & stone for years. The current management and front desk is ruining the facility. I cannot get any phone calls answered and the person that I Love for massage is not currently listed for online appointments so I must do it over the phone or specifically stop by to make an appointment. This is unacceptable.
Think long and hard before you sign up for a membership here. They also raised their prices without any notification to the clients.

This review is based on the difficulty cancelling my membership. I was recently laid off and called to cancel my membership. I was told there is 1 person alone who handles that and they would leave her a message. I have called at least 5 times. They have assured me, my membership was cancelled. Yesterday, they tried to charge my card! So frustrating. BEWARE before you sign up.

Booked a "last minute deal" for my wife which is on their pricing menu and supposed to be either a 1 hour massage or facial and added on an additional 15min scalp massage. The entire session lasted just under 50 minutes. On top of it all, they provided additional on options but poorly explained the pricing add ons so the final bill was over double what the initial appointment was for. My wife did warn me that she had stopped going there for massages as they habitually would short time on those as well.

Horrible customer service experience here. For the last 5 months, I have been trying to cancel my Hand and Stone membership and have not been successful, despite being assured every time that it has been properly cancelled by staff and managers alike. I also have plenty of paperwork and receipts to show I have cancelled...but I still somehow find a change the next month. I have truly tried to be very patient with them (accepting a "last payment" multiple times, dealing with rude front desk staff, etc.) but at this point, I'm completely lost as to how they can run a business like this. It feels like they are stealing my money at this point. Beyond that, my massage experience here was mediocre compared to other places and the front desk reps were so, so pushy about upselling me each time I came in...hence why I was trying to cancel. I would seriously caution anyone from doing business here in any way but ESPECIALLY when it comes to their membership. I wouldn't want anyone else having to shell out $100's of dollars over a 5 month period because their customer representatives/cancellation process is so awful.

Hand and Stone Massage have cancelled my pre scheduled massage appointment on me the day before multiple times in a row now. This is not acceptable and is a common business practice of this massage studio. They will make you pay a cancellation fee if you cancel but routinely cancel at the last minute with absolutely no remorse or consequences. Very hypocritical and toxic culture. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Amy Did a great job. I felt so refreshed the next day and my muscles & body was less tight the next day ive been over due for a massage only had a massage 3 times in my life but you don't know what you are missing until you find the right person to massage you then you will notice the good difference. Its great ? ????
